Yes, it does violate the Constitution.
If you want equal treatment for Trump, then trump needs to be rearraigned, have his mug shot taken and released publicly, have him do the perp walk, in handcuffs, have conditions placed on him including bail, his passport surrendered, and not allowed to leave the state, pretty much like most other defendants of this crime.
For me… Yes.
Keep up the Hope of The Orange Man Bad beyond all of that Rigamarole stated above for the more important so Hoped for the final vision of the Orange Man Bad wearing Prison Garb with The Face behind those Prison Bars!
What crime? Who are the other defendants of the crime? Names please.
Shouldn’t the answer be Yes?
I think, that may be what has been said.
Four pictures worth Four thousand words!
All four thousand of which being abject ignorance.
They make sense of it by saying he cooperated in the recovery of them. Doesn't matter to them that he had some of them in his possession for more than a decade and anyone could have had access to them since they weren't secured. Even a janitor could have copied them and sold them to foreign agents. It just doesn't matter to them all because they've fallen for Joe's plausible deniability defense.
Who said anything about "giving"?
He had top secret papers stored in bathroom for crying out loud. You don't think that puts them at risk? He stored them on a stage in a ballroom? That didn't put them at risk?
I object! Due to ignorance of the meaning of “a picture is worth a thousand words” Especially when it is multiplied by four.
Then you don't know the meaning of this phrase and might have even been mislead enough to think this showed anything.
this will only make him more popular. Fall on this sword if you wish. thanks for making it impossible to interrupt you while you are making a mistake.
I can think for myself. I know the meaning of the phrase. I have not been mislead. Wishful thinking doesn’t change what I know that I know.
I understand the meanings of words and phrases.
Here is a snippet…
“The proverb a picture is worth a thousand words is probably not as old as you think. A proverb is a short, common saying or phrase. It particularly gives advice or shares a universal truth. We will examine the definition of the phrase a picture is worth a thousand words, where the expression came from as well as some examples of its use in sentences.”
“The phrase a picture is worth a thousand words means a picture may convey an idea more quickly and effectively than the written word. Writers of texts that describe concepts involving imagery or abstract thoughts need many words to get their points across. A photograph, artwork, drawing or graphics can often demonstrate an idea with one look, much more quickly than a narrative can explain things. A photograph or artwork may depict emotion, enabling the viewer to perceive the essence of the story without a word being written or spoken. Readers of articles or books must engage in a large amount of effort to mentally process the words in order to understand what the writer is trying to convey. Someone who simply views an image can capture the essence of the meaning of that image without a lot of explaining.”
I can predict the campaign message if they do perp walk him.
"If they aren't afraid to do it to me, people, they'll have no issue doing it to you. I will Make sure to reform the justice department, I'll fire all those rats."
The problem the OMB crowd doesn't get is this won't discourage anybody from voting trump but themselves.
Did you not read the federal indictment? Trump is acting 37 counts including 31 counts of the willful intention of National Defense Information under 18 USC 793(e), conspiracy to obstruct justice under 18 USC 1512(k), withholding a document of record under 18 USC 1512(b), corruptly concealing a document of record under 18 USC 1512(c), concealing a federal indictment under a federal investigation under 18 USC 1519, Scheme to conceal under 18 USC 1001, and false statements and representation under 18 USC 1001.
As for other people who were charged 18 USC 793, you may want to look at this link that provides quite a number of people including one Robert Hanssen, former FBI agent who recently passed away in his cell from an apparent suicide.
Sure its a risk. Same as in the trunk of Biden's car. Do you feel victimized by Biden too?
I didn't say or do anything, I just speculated with the rest of the crowd. If it makes you feel any better, to clarify I hope he's able to serve a future prison term completely unharmed. To reiterate, and this is a sworn statement: The legal process should proceed as it should. What becomes of Trump's fate has very little to no baring in my personal life or feelings.
Act, Nexus, Intention... The three elements needed to convict. This case meets them all
I don't know who you interact with. But it makes no difference. And to say that this is a victimless crime is even more absurd.
So now you know it's not political. And that it's a matter of rule of law. My job is done.
I think, there are many Americans that are already pondering your prediction campaign message even before they perp walk him.
I’m thinking along with the campaign message… The perp walk picture will also be used along with the message.
I agree. It actually may encourage some undecided voters to vote for Trump.
Time will tell. We will all need to wait for it together until something actually happens…
I’m patiently waiting for the outcome. It could be a short wait. It could be a long wait. I haven’t been hoping for years for this day like so many others.
The many others can keep hoping and will be waiting for the outcome just like me.
It will come, probably in a year or so. My interest is what will Trump's defense will be when it does go to trial.
Okay. I think, many people will be interested in that subject. And there will be posters on this forum posting about that subject.
Looking forward to reading all those posts.
They did and when they asked tRaitor tRump to return them he denied having them, obfuscated their location and simply refused or had his lawyer lie about them.
It was certainly a "big deal". So big that the people handling them immediately contacted NARA and asked them to supervise and take over their recovery. It's that difference that is why tRaitor tRump has been indicted and President Biden has not.
NARA knows in the rush for a peaceful transfer of power mistakes are made, how those involved handle the mistakes, makes all the difference.
