It seems to me that trump wants to confront iran. And I think Trump may be looking for a country to make an example of. And I think that Netanyahu has Trump’s ear; and that Netanyahu insistently wants Iran to be crippled. It also seems that Iran, as a point of national pride, is not willing to be seen to be intimidated by Trump (and Israel) For these reasons, it almost seems that war with Iran is near inevitable.... although that seems to me like an absurdly irrational idea. What do you think?
Iran has been a rogue nation ruled by a murderous, tyrannical pack of Islamo-Nazi 'priests' ever since 1979. They have repeatedly threatened their neighbors, repeatedly engaged in outright acts of warfare and aggression, repeatedly threatened the very right of Israel even to EXIST, and, they've killed or badly wounded large numbers of Americans ever since they staged their uncivilized, lawless invasion of our American Embassy decades ago, kidnapping our people, and subjecting them to sadistic cruelty. Then Iran leveraged a fraudulent "agreement" with the unbelievably STOOPID Obama regime to prevent nuclear weapons, but which forbade inspection of any place in Iran that the Iranians UNILATERALLY declared to be a "military zone". Who but a bunch of mindless Democrat morons could possibly be half-witted enough to put any faith at all in such a scam -- even while the Iranians themselves were laughing and jeering at us after this thing was signed?! Now we have discovered another Iranian scheme of an alarming nature and on a scale that has convinced our president we must take immediate crisis-prevention measures, including naval battle-groups and strategic bomber squadrons. We're taking all non-essential personnel out of our enormous Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq because of this Iranian undertaking. So now, if the Iranians light a 'powder keg' that ends up at their own feet, then SO BE IT! These dangerous, cruel, dictatorial, religious fanatics have been begging for it for decades! So, if they pull any crap at all, let's give it to them in a way that no one in the Middle East will EVER forget.... Hint: we don't need to use nuclear weapons to deal with this Iranian threat. I fail to see how the fact that jihadists took hostages in the US embassy 40 years ago is a valid justification for declaring war on a sovereign country, killing tens of thousands on a "preemptive strike" for supposed WMD for which no proof exists (just like the fiasco in Iraq). I don't think we will go to war with Iran unless they shoot first. If we do go to war with Iran i have two primary concerns. 1. The saftey of our troops, sailors and airmen. 2. The war raising gas prices which will cause severe economic conditions for Americans. I care about the Iranian people but once shooting starts i am vastly more concerned about Americans. I'd be opposed to any American preemptive actions.

We needed to get rid of Iran years ago. If Trump wants to do it now that's fine with me no matter what the reason is. They are a clear and present danger in the ME and have been ever since the Islam fanatics took over.
