hydrochloroquine and chloroquinephosphate are NOT the same substance. trump said the first showed promise during early anecdotal evidence.AFTER controlled tests are conducted, the drug COULD prove to help. he never said it was a cure. he said it showed promise.good god, cant you people even TRY to cut him some slack?

Look... Americans are used to trusting what their President says. No other President has given medical advice or about... anything that could potentially put people in danger... unless they were absolutely sure they were echoing a professional.

You know that Trump doesn't know what he's talking about because you have probably followed politics during the last 3 years. Like I have. But most Americans haven't So if they hear a President talking about a "cure"... they don't parse the President's words. They don't analyze what exactly he said. Especially if you're one of his supporters, you just... believe him...

It's pure irresponsibility for a President to be saying these things at a moment of crisis.... when people are afraid and starting to become desperate for a solution.
