Islamic beliefs and actions are not compatible with the culture established in the United States or most of the western world. If a Muslim wishes to enjoy the benefits found outside Middle Eastern/Islamic societies they must lose some of their dogmatic mindset....otherwise no one will be happy.

I don't think there is enough public evidence of it being Muslim related yet.
All we have is a comment by a supposed relative he is a Muslim.

I'm not a fan of Islam. But a lot of people murder their spouses and families for various reasons, many along the same line of reasoning, which is essentially to return the hurt inflicted upon them by betrayal. So it's not so much a Muslim thing as it is the basic human faults of pride and vengefulness. The whole world has always been awash in anger and hate. That's why we have a justice system and a Constitution....to bridle human passion. It is not just Islam. We know of our own brutality.

Nothing is being suppressed. Family murders happen every day in the US so no longer newsworthy. The US is a particularly violent country

 

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Phoenix Police say the man accused of killing four people, including his wife and two daughters, had his guns taken away in 2018 only to be given back days later.

According to Phoenix Police, Smith had three guns taken from him in November of 2018 after a neighbor reported Smith saying he had a gun and was yelling that people were trying to kill him.

Police say during the incident Smith was not aggressive and cooperated with officers, but they petitioned him into the Urgent Psychiatric Center and impounded three of his guns.

One week later, police said Smith returned to retrieve his guns and was given them back after a records check found no outstanding warrants or that he was a prohibited possessor.

But, hey, giving guns back to an unstable individual is more important than violating the 2nd

The reason for the low number of honor killings in the US is the relatively low number of Muslims here. As their numbers increase, so will honor killings which are common throughout the Muslim
World. In 2008, Amnesty International estimated that 90% of wives in Pakistan had been physically abused by their husbands. No Western country has a situation nearly as bad as that. Pakistan had
what might be the worst honor killing ever - In December 2005 the 25-year-old stepdaughter of Nazir Ahmed came to live with him and his family because she was being abused by her husband.
Ahmed thought that having a stepdaughter who had left her husband was an intolerable disgrace for the family. So that night he cut his stepdaughter's throat. He then killed his own three daughters
-aged 8,7 and 4 - because he was afraid that with the stepdaughter's bad example they MIGHT do something to disgrace the family as well! Ahmed was arrested, but most men in Pakistan didn't feel he
had done anything wrong. Such killings are rarely reported or prosecuted.
In fairness to Pakistan, it should be stated that it is more open than most Muslim countries and we know more about what happens there. The situation in other Muslim countries could be as bad
or worse.

On November 7, 2006, my local newspaper, The Saratogian, carried a story about a study made by Human Rights Watch among Palestinian women in the West Bank and Gaza. They found that
23% of the women they asked admitted to being physically abused by their husbands. Fully two-thirds said they had been subjected to psychological abuse. We can be sure the numbers are
higher than those willing to admit it.

I believe that Islam is at least partly to blame for this abuse. Islam teaches that women are inherently inferior to men. "Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one
superior to the other" Qu'ran 4:34. The Qu'ran also teaches, "Good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion,
admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and whip them." Elaborating on this message, on October 26, 2006, Iranian Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi issued a fatwa - a Muslim
religious edict - saying that if wives were disobedient, it is acceptable for men to hit them. The Ayatollah said that women "are masochistic and sometimes they have a crisis and need light
physical punishment to get back to normal." It is easy to see how an attitude like this could lead to abuse and honor killings.

When Muslims move to Western countries, they bring these attitudes with them. In Britain, which has a growing Muslim population, more than 25 women have been killed in the past decade
for offenses their men thought brought shame on the family. Over 100 other "Honor Killing" cases are under investigation there. USA TODAY, 6/14/2007.

At Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, two teens went on a shooting spree on April 20, 1999, killing 13 people and wounding more than 20 others before turning their guns on themselves and committing suicide.
Stony Brook........white male..perhaps Christian...Need we go on.
Yet another school shooting happened, this time at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in the city of Parkland in Broward County, Florida, on February 14th. These devastating events bring the count of school shootings (that happened during school hours and resulted in injury) to five this year alone. As expected, people are shocked everywhere on earth.

But for Christians, murdering a member of one's family is a crime. For many Muslims it is not a crime, but a matter of honor.

 

The killing sprees you mention, Columbine, Parkland, were carried out by athiests, not Christians. What evidence do you have that Gavrilo Princip practiced the Orthodox religion. He was a Serbian
nationist, and that is what motivated the killing. The Knights Templar killed people about a thousand years ago, Muslims are killing people for their religion today.

 

My point was that Muslims point blank refuse to assimilate? Then what do you do?

The trick is identifying Muslims who want to integrate, and to be valuable, loyal, and productive members of American societies, and Muslims who er, don't?
