Who are the people who still approve of Obama?

How low can he go? My guess, maybe another 15 points before November of next year.

85% of blacks still support him, even though blacks have not been this disenfranchised in many, many years. Their unemployment rate is at Great Depression levels, and far beyond that of whites and other groups.

Of course, they'll probably just blame racism, as usual, before blaming one of their own.

Don't underestimate Obama's craftiness. His own policies have failed, and what he might do is enact a few fiscally conservative programs to help get the economy back on better footing. This will translate into higher approval numbers and a higher likelihood that he will get a second term. After that happens, he'll scrap all the fiscally conservative programs and start spending like a drunken Marxist again. Then we're (*)(*)(*)(*)ed. The only thing stopping him right now is the fact that he might not get reelected. Once he does, nothing will stop him.

In any 'all adults' poll it's 13% black so O gets 12% of his total right there.

I bet he still gets the bulk of Big Fed and local government employees. Call it another 10% taking us to 22%.

Academia, the Jurassic media, San Francisco and all the gays, plus there's a bunch of WV old line morons that'll always vote Dem 'cause Daddy voted Dem. Call it 10% getting us to 32%.

Then there's the Elvis factor, a pollster's perennial nightmare. 8% of the population still thinks Elvis might be alive. That sounds like a natural Obama cohort. Give him 6% more and....38%!

Sadly, the only Obama success is his 2008 campaign. He's masterful at selling BS. None better. Unless he starts a pogrom he'll be in contention.

I don't know about the accuracy of your numbers, but in any case, I really have a hard time thinking his poll numbers will go much lower than that. He is going to get support from liberals and some independents.

Also, I wouldn't put much faith in peoples' opinion of Obama as an indicator of the next election. Once the GOP nominee is determined, the media will begin exercising their very rusty journalism skills to slander and attack the GOP nominee. Then the Americans who don't have time to see through all of the media bull(*)(*)(*)(*) will get duped again and Obama will get a boost.

Gallup now has disapproval at 50 and approval at 42. We will see if the rest of my prediction comes true...
