and Theists only disbelieve in one less God then Atheists, all the other God's, both of them do not believe in, so ask a Theist how they disbelieve in all the others.. and they have their answer

I don't disbelieve in all other gods, I just attribute them to demonic activity.

But what if your god is the demon to another religion’s “true god”?

Assuming you’re going to believe in any deity at all wouldn’t it make more sense to believe that the multitude of gods is the product of human attempts to understand a single creator?

Have you ever considered the possibility people are not mocking Christians.....but mocking YOU?

I have never debased Christianity but often reply to Christians that annoy me.

It does prove that God planted the idea of Him on human hearts, as the Bible says. Some don't care about religion, but then some don't care about sex either.

I would say it proves that early civilizations wondered about what happens when we die. It doesn’t prove there is a god.

How do you deal with evangelical atheists?

    When such situations arise, yes.

Given all the updates and changes to religions, I wouldn't be so sure of that. Women are now clergy, homosexuals and bisexuals are welcomed in many religions that didn't previously and even perform same sex marriages as well as letting them into the clergy.

That's not to say that many will not try to stick to the past. Heck, we had gays and atheists who were opposed to same sex marriage, so it's not only the religious who do this.

I haven't run into one yet....but would likely just ignore them if I did. You have likely run into them because you want them and imagine what you wish. The Atheists I have noted pretty much avoid confrontation until someone does as you just did and get pissy.

Yes. However, that doesn't make it provable or repeatable. There are lots of events that are not provable or repeatable, but that people other that those that experience them are willing to believe.

For example, shortly after we had moved into our current house, we had a mattress leaned up against the inside of the front door (just needed a place to put it while we prepped the room it was going into. We were stopped for the day and praying with one of the cats with a laser pointer. I ran it up the mattress. She followed, but when she got to the mattress, she climbed up with her foreclaws, but her body remained parallel to the floor. No way could I ever get that to repeat, and yet more people will believe that sooner than they will believe any paranormal/supernatural/religious experience might go through. And I have been through some.

You’re correct that religious groups have grown socially in recent history. My comment was aimed more at understanding things like the origin of life and all existence. I could have made that more clear.

I have yet to dismiss the existence of any of the other gods. My selected religion only says I am to have no other god before mine.

Must be multiple exceptions out there then. I personally know several theists, and not all Christian, who at the least accept the possibility of the other gods, via a variety of methods. Maybe we are just uncommon as opposed to rare, but don't try to push the thought any more than we try to push our religion.

In your example you start off at an advantage over paranormal/supernatural/religious experiences. The existence of the cat, the laser pointer and the mattress are all easily observable. I find the story far fetched myself, but more believable than stories of ghosts for example.

Not really. I have plenty of atheists friends, as well as Wiccan, Jewish and Mormon (for those who don't accept Mormonism as a Christian denomination). All the ones I associate with are happy to let others believe what they want. I even have a few who enjoy religious debates for the sake of debate. And we have run into the evangelical atheists who are hell bent (no puns intended) on showing everyone religious are wrong. It was a very interesting debate watching a Christian, a pagan and an atheist trying to prove the other two wrong at a pagan pride event.

That too has updated. Many Christian are not the Young Earth Creationist types. There are many of us who hold that God created the universe starting with the Big Bang. Science doesn't disprove God, nor proves him. It simply reveals and/or proves how the universe works.

A very wise man once said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man comes to the Father but by Me."

There are many apostate churches, but the vast majority of global Christianity rejects the gay agenda.

Your selected religion must not be Christianity or any other form of mono or quasimono theism then. Do you accept all of the other creator gods or is your god the creator of the universe? Sounds more like henotheism, which is fine in my book.

How do you know he was telling the truth? Or not not simply mistaken?

I don’t know but I don’t make up stories to explain what I don’t understand. Maybe it was Zeus. But like children who get presents and they don’t know where they came from they are told it’s a man in the north pole

Because like millions of others, I have a relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.
