What? Has anyone ever heard of this? “Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act” Hunh? Came about in 1972. Tricky Dicky was in on this?

From Wikipedia: “During fiscal year 2008, GSA reported 917 active committees composed of almost 64,000 members that provided advice and recommendations to 50 federal agencies. Financially, the cost of these committees amounted to $344.3 million in fiscal year 2008”

Does that make the chairpersons of these committees equivalent to Czars?

Anyhow, according to the Federal Register, it's going to have a meeting open to the public “according to space availability” on June 4th. YOU can show up – but you got to get a ticket first. Want to go? Check out https://www.acus.gov/meetings-and-events/plenary-meeting/62nd-plenary-session-0

Just one of hundreds of announcements in today's Federal Register.
