You could make the argument that Armenia still is a war zone.

 

There are some Armenian parts of Azerbaijan that were fought over fight after the USSR broke up but I would not call it a war zone as Syria is of Afghanistan.

If Armenia is a war zone so are Parkland and other parts of Florida, Waffel House Tenn, parts of Chicago, Vegas, etc

One of my grandparents escaped the Armenian genocide when, as a baby, he was put on a boat and sent here. He never talked about his Armenian heritage, he was happy to be an American in America and when my dad was born he was never taught the language. My off-the-boat Italian grandmother who married my grandfather never taught my dad Italian. Back then the key to success was assimilating and being an English speaking American. There were no prizes or benefits for simply arriving in this country, every morsel of food you ate was earned, not handed to you. My Irish relatives tell me horror stories about the discrimination they went through, it was worse than what the Italians endured. All of them were proud to be Americans and the thought of kneeling for our anthem would probably make very, very angry, especially after living through WWII.

 

I wonder if van sales will boom as people try to buy one before they are banned.

As an aside, one day I'd love to visit Toronto in spring. Word has it that today was the first decent day of spring weather they have had.

When vans can be loaded into a clip and fired from 500 yards away in an elevated secure position with accuracy then we can have this conversation.

Why would you use a clip? They have a tool available called a magazine which is much more efficient than a clip. Clips aren’t used that much anymore. Especially since the Garand went out of service.

But how do you stop the mass killings with a van??? Vans at 500 yards are just as accurate as AR15s, and they can wipe out 20 people as easily as a 20-round clip.
