    Noooo, I'm pretty sure people are mad because of the exaggerated features.

    The Aussie artist may not be familiar with the ways Africans were portrayed in US papers, but his cartoon of her face is pretty spot on to some very, very racists pieces of history.

    And her opponent who is a dark skinned Haitian-Japanese is portrayed as white with blonde hair???The cartoonist didn't do either of them justice.

    Yeah the nose on the coach is exactly how white people's noses look.

    There is no exaggeration of features in cartoons, that never happens.

    I was fully aware of her appearance as I watched the match.She has the tips of her hair blonded but in no way does she look white as the cartoon artist depicted her.

    Mark Knight clearly didn't watch the match and he wasn't even aware of the Japanese tennis player who is dubbed the next Serena Williams. But it was OK because most Aussies didn't watch the women's final either as it happened in New York when everyone was sleeping on the other side of the Pacific. His Twitter account has now disappeared. I don't think he deleted the account by himself.

    She wasn't portrayed as White. If you BOTHER to look closely you will see that she is portrayed with a BROWN skin tone. The blonde hair was presented because on the court that day she HAD . . . blonde . . . hair. Women sometimes -- gasp! -- dye their hair; and that is exactly what she did.

    This may come as a shock to some leftists but professional cartoonists generally are not portrait artists striving for a perfect likeness. But then again when playing the Race Card it appears that few on the Left actually care about reality.

    When the first thing you notice about another human being, in every possible situation, is their race .. you are a racist. You don't need to feel superior (though constantly 'defending' the little brown people is most definitely an act of superiority), to be a racist, you just need to be overweeningly concerned with matters racial.

    Yep, and his lips are too narrow as is his nose. Obviously the cartoonist was saying that all Whites look like that; the racist prick.
