Of course experience and wisdom will be ignored by the young but you get it anyway because your elders have good memories. As for me, I earn my retirement and save for it myself and it is government that makes anyone live off the backs of their kids and their kids kids. I don't expect you to understand any of that.

Bud, I would never in a thousand years argue that the government should pay for my retirement. (*)(*)(*)(*) that. I'm not a lazy boomer, content to work for 40 years and call myself productive. It's total BS. You guys were self-entitled, lazy, arrogant, close-minded and wholly irresponsible on every level. Financially. Environmentally. Politically.

It's sad. The Greatest Generation weeps at your incompetence.

The only way to tell if he is a man is on a bass boat on the better end of a fishing rod....for a week. Lets see how he sets up base camp.

Our youth is important to me and for that matter us. I get your excitement but this yout needs to start the fire and put food on the grill. Grab a beer from the cooler and lets watch how he has everything figured out....

Mmmm, you mean because of progressive redistribution? None of us asked for it.

Your ignorance is showing again..aerospace includes general & commercial aviation as well as defense and space..btw, Apollo and the platform leading to the Mars rover where laid by 'my' generation. And your welcome for flying on 'my' generation's airplanes (my last plane worked on was the Boeing 777)..keep on flapping your Inet jaws as you are 'my' generation's best offense......

Oh, btw, my main income is from 2 private pensions---not SS

Taking credit now for Mars rover are we? Mars expedition date was 2003. If your under 30 that would put you living with your parents.....the very baby boomers to despise.

The net was crafted and mostly installed while you were playing video games in your baby boomer basement.

What to continue with your childish behavior? Because you're not BSing anyone here.

    Extremely bitter young man.

Go back to playing video games boy....you're way out of your league.

Oops not you Toefoot. I screwed up on quote function. Sorry!!!

If that's your industry, you should know that commercial aerospace companies are totally reliant upon government subsidies, on every level. The fuel they use? Subsidized. The research they rely on? Subsidized. The airports? Subsidized. The regulatory framework that makes it possible? Bought and paid for by the US taxpayer.

Judging from your posts I'm betting you're in no position to take care of your grand parents.

It's OK.....we have men and women in this country will take that task upon themselves.

So what's next? You gonna complain about public schools, too?! (btw, mine spent most of their lives in private schools---I paid for both their education directly and yours thru taxes---in your case, I want my $$$ back)!!

Interesting because it is my generation that seems to be supporting and taking care of the next generation, both directly and through government redistribution.

Still not getting it, are you? My generation, as well as the Xers and Ys, are willing to pay for this. Don't worry, we'll clean up the Boomers mess.

What Boomers don't understand is that when you pay for stuff, you actually should pay for it. It's why all these guys yipping will have guaranteed voted for low taxes whenever they can. And the only programs they are willing to cut are those that don't benefit them, or didn't earn them their livelihood.

Some dude joins the military, gets paid the entire time, then gets his school paid for, then works in aerospace his entire career, and then argues for low taxes. This is the Boomer Mentality. This is what an entire generation of people did. Its hard to even fathom the level of selfishness it entails to literally be handed the keys to the kingdom, and spend the next forty years being unwilling to pay for upkeep.

Don't worry about me. I found my calling early and I'm doing okay. Thanks for your concern though.

Is that why your generation is whining for free college and free healthcare? Seems to be the only ones paying for that are boomers.

They got what they wanted....but I guess they were expecting someone else to pay for it.

I always love the argument the NRA and its supporters make about Hitler and guns when Hitler actually made it easier to own guns.

I know you Americans find this difficult to comprehend but the US founding fathers weren't gods, they were just people.

Nice logical fallacy. No one said they were Gods.

Yet they were much better educated on philosophy than the current crop of congress critters.

Incorrect. Boomers are not paying for it. This is why we have trillions in debt - because Boomers spend on things, but never actually pony up the money to pay for them. They've been doing it for decades. One of the largest wealth redistribution schemes in history... Outright theft, really.

LOL, we are trillions in debt because of progressive ideology in government. You are just upset that government does not steal more from boomers that earn the money. Outright theft, really.
