This was noted in the GREEN PAPERS:

    http://www.thegreenpapers.com/G17/FL#S1

    Screenshot for posterity:

A certain "Augustus Invictus" has filed for the US-Senate Class 1 seat from Florida.

He announced his Senate run directly in front of Bill Nelson's office:

    https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch...invictus-announces-another-campaign-us-senate

If you go to the GREEN PAPERS link and click on his name, it will take you to his Twitter-page, where his identity is "SenatorInvictus". He is an avowed Neo-Nazi and was identified by a number of people on twitter for having been at the Nazi-tikitorch march and ensuing rally last weekend.

Now, I am not writing this to impugne Republicans. I am, however, stating fact.

And another fact is that, according to FL state law, in order to be approved for the ballot for Senate, you have to get 128,739 valid signatures on your petition to run plus you have to pay 10 cents for each signature (is supposed to cover the cost of verifying said signature). So, whether he makes the ballot is something entirely different. Wait and see.

In 2016, he ran for the Libertarian slot as candidate for Senate in Florida and was defeated handily by Paul Stanton.

This is a developing story. But just days after that man beat people at a nazi rally he then, dressed up all nice, announced his Senate run as a Republican. This is something that can happen in the age of Trump.

Sounds fishy ... has Debbie Wasserman paid this guy to run? She desperately needs sympathizers.

And? Duke ran for Governor of Louisiana.....4 times. Which he was crushed each and every time. I doubt the RNC or Establishment Repubs will be giving him any support.

Pretty ironic for Bernie Sanders supporters to be complaining about extremists running for office.

Shouldn't you be back to making predictions for the midterms? You were so correct about Hillary Clinton's blowout 2016 victory so I expect very accurate results, as always :)

I concur with you. However, the fact that a nazi like this type feels so emboldened after the national disgrace that just happened in Virginia is probably telling us something. Nöööö?

“Do I believe that 6 million Jews were killed by evil Hitler? Is that what you’re asking me?” he said. “Okay, then I am still waiting to see those facts.”

Good God, he sounds like some of the liberals on this forum!

The Republican Party is infested with people like this. I saw this happening long ago - many came in under the guise of the religious right. That's why I ditched the Rs and became an Independent.

Fox et al have been cultivating this cancer for decades.

This is far from new. But it is finally being recognized for what it is.

Well, with such bad grammar and terrible sentence construction and as disjointed as the quote was, I first thought it was probably from Trump.

I've never heard a single Liberal say what you quoted. Can you be more specific, if you are able to do so?

I'm going to quote Geraldo Rivera who a few days ago on FNC while responding to Charloettesville said "Nazis killed 50 million people."

I didn't know that Geradol was a revisionist type of guy.

I was born exactly five years after the end of WW ll.

By the time I started going to school we were told that 3 million Jews were murdered by the Nazis. By the 12 th grade it was up to 6 million.

It even got as high as 12 million at times.

Nothing wrong questioning how many Jews were murdered during WW ll.

Where the neo-Nazis have a problem is when they denied that the holocaust never happened. They lose all credibility.

From the OP's link..."Candidates for office appear on this page in italics where 'The Green Papers' does not yet have independent confirmation from a legal election authority that the person has been officially certified to appear on the ballot."

Yup. Just part of the following narrative:

    All Trump supporters aren't "Alt-Right/KKK/neo-Nazi/Etc."

BUT, the Overwhelming Majority (if not ALL) "Alt-Right/KKK/neo-Nazi/Etc." are Trump supporters.

    Period. Case Closed. :salute:

This is correct. That indeed is to stipulated at the Green Papers.

I never wrote that he is yet officially certified. That usually happens a number of months (3-4) before the primaries.

I wrote that he has announced (filed). Announced is not the same thing as certified.

I also indicated what it takes to get ballot access.

    You understand this, right?

So don't vote for him. Some stealth 'marxism at any cost' types have successfully run for office in the west. But I'm going to go out on a limb here and submit that you're okay with that.

Has it really come to this, in America?

That he ran for the Libertarian Party is a fairly strong indicator that he's not any sort of fascist, unless he has substantially changed his views since then.

Did he just attend the rally or has he actually described himself as a neo-Nazi?

Not so unusual...We had a KKK grand dragon in the Senate. Maybe this guy should join the Democrat Party.
