People receiving "disability" is 10 times the size of the workforce now what it was in 1960. There aren't as many truly disabled people as one might think.

Part of the training they should receive is how and why not to be a single parent.

Getting rid of most poverty only requires 3 things:

    1. Don't drop out of school
    2. Don't commit crime/use drugs
    3. Don't have children out of wedlock/Don't be a single parent

Trump made 2 women single parents and they didn’t have kids out of wedlock lol
Your solutions either require an oppressive govt or magic pixie dust

No, if you're poor you make bad decisions.

With the exception of people who lose everything due to some catastrophe, of course.

The FAIR tax provides a basic income. Ask Democrats and they say nyet, they do not want this. But aside from ridding us of income taxes, changing to taxing sales, it is a new income for a lot of people. Again, do not believe the Democrats since the universally turn this down. They are pulling a shuck and jive job.

Nice avoidance with a relativism fallacy.

Who said I support Corporate Welfare. News Flash danielpalos... I don't support either!

So... I ask again, since you conveniently ignored my original statement foaming at the mouth about right-wing... blah blah blah.

Who the hell made you dictator to solve other peoples financial issues with money that you don't own? Again... get over yourself.

The popular, two-term president is not longer in power, and does not serve as a desperately needed distraction from the one who is.

Trump was informed two weeks before his inauguration that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally directed the election meddling into the 2016 US presidential race, according to The New York Times.

Trump was given classified information showing that Putin ordered cyberattacks to interfere with the presidential election. The information provided to Trump reportedly included texts and emails from Russian military personnel and information from a source close to Putin. The source close to Putin reportedly came to the CIA with the information on Russia's actions.

Trump was grudgingly convinced by the information presented to him during the intel briefing on January 6, 2017, according to The Times.

But while the US intelligence community remains steadfast in its findings that Putin and Russia attempted to sway the election, Trump has publicly wavered over whether or not to condemn the Kremlin for its actions...

Coats, the Director of National Intelligence, issued a statement later that day strongly rebuking the president.

"We have been clear in our assessments of Russian meddling in the 2016 election and their ongoing, pervasive efforts to undermine our democracy, and we will continue to provide unvarnished and objective evidence in support of our national security," he said.

The desperate, hysterical attempts at diverting attention from vital US security needs do not serve the nation.

I am not trying to make this a republican / democrat issue. My thought is that in the near future there will have to be some form of universal income. Too many jobs will be eliminated due to technology and globalism. Look at self driving cars as an example. I won't be long before truck drivers, taxi driver, uber drivers will all be out of work.
