Bath salt is has gained much attention as there have been some who have used it and experienced quite a wild and unhappy ride. One unfortunate even took his own life after a few days being awake and high on the substance and I suppose it was a deranged state of anxiety and paranoia which finally did him in. For those who are unaware, these salts apparently add fragrance as one baths in the tub. However these salts can be snorted, smoked, and injected just like any hard drug. They are cheap in contrast to cocaine and achieve an even more intense high. This isnt exactly news as they have been gaining attention for some time now and there are laws being passed throughout the country in attempt to outlaw them. They are sold in cornerstores, cigarette outlets and bath and body shops, probably other places but those are where I have seen them being sold. Wasnt sure what everyone else here had to say about them as there hadnt been a thread created about The salt yet.

I've heard about this. Geez, people should just smoke pot and stay at home and chill. At least it won't kill them. Or have a belt of whiskey. But bath salts???? DON'T do that folks.

The salt has been banned inPA for about two months but is still accessible in corner stores and cigarrete outlets if you were clientelle before they were banned. There is already a replacement for it though and imcertain more replacements will follow. Law makers continue to deliberate on banning legal drugs while more keep coming out to replace them. All this talk about legalize weed, but in Many places, the legal stuff is much more cheaper, better, and more easily accessible. There are those who stick to their roots but weed is losing popularity with the youth while the synthetics are making it big. Names like, zombie, armaggedon, power plant, down to earth and more have kids running to the shelves to purchase this stuff and the glass pipes to smoke it. Some of It is very powerful, I tried two hits and passed out for about 2 minutes while my associate slapped me back to consciousness, it was a zeteic experiment and observation and the worst thing I have done since salvia.

There's been a slew of news stories lately about "bath salts" that mimic the effects of cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana. The people who wrote these stories obviously had their heads up their asses, because those 3 drugs are nothing like each other.

After doing some research, I learned that these stories were about two completely unrelated types of products that are sold in similar-looking packaging, often in the same locations. The first product, sold as "bath salts", is MDPV, which is structurally related to the amphetamine family and produces similar effects. The second product, sold as "K2" and "Spice", consists of non-psychoactive incense that has been doused with synthetic cannabinoids.

    So... yeah.
