Anyone have a particular favorite beer?

New Belgium 1554 black ale is simply delicious. Just sayin'.

At the moment, I really enjoyed a Port Mongo Double IPA. One of the best commercially produced IPAs that I've had. Also had a Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery Porter made with coffee. It utilized the coffee flavor very well and I think would be heaven with a french vanilla bean ice cream (ie. a beer float.)

Guinness and Boddington's Pub Ale. Smoothest beers I've ever had.

Favorite, hmm I don't think I could choose a commercial beer as a favorite, I do like Sam Adams' White Ale, too bad you can only get three now in their holiday sampler. Spotted Cow is also quite good but Moon Man is my favorite of New Glarus' beers. They only sell in Wisconsin though. There are many gas stations on the boarders that advertise they stock New Glarus products. But currently my favorite beer is my own Oatmeal Stout that I brew myself.

I make my own beer. It's pretty much all I drink nowadays, except when I don't plan ahead and run out. Can't beat 30 -40 cents a beer :) Actually, I can. If I bought materials in bulk, I could make beer for 10 - 20 cents a beer.

This is probably my favorite commercial beer

For those of you who are fans of dark stout beers... try a Bourbon County Stout... I dare you... try making it through four of them!

 yeah, it can do that. I've found that stouts are worse in that regard. For example, Guiness and mexican or b-b-q = suffering the next morning.

Budweiser beer and either - a) Jack In The Box 2 for .99 tacos, or, b) White Castle cheeseburgers.

Sit on the throne the next day, and make noise like an Evinrude outboard motor from your posterior! :fart:

I like different beers at different times, but I do love Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy.

It's seasonal, but it's a nice summer drink.

The fact Euros like warm beer has more to do with their poor refrigeration technology
than it does "taste." This is the land of the bubonic plague remember...it was not that long
ago they still dumped their sewage out the window...
