I quit drinking, but Yeungling Lager is the best beer I have ever drank.

I have only had Long Trail Stout once, but I will never forget her smooth taste.

I keep hearing that Coors is good w/ V8...

In fact, down here in FLA, they sell these Coors (or maybe it's Bud Light :)puke:)) cans that have V8, or tomato juice, already in them...

Best thing about Coors though, it's the only beer that you can drink a boatload of and still wake up the next morning feeling just fine...

    Worth every penny tho.

When quantity over quality is the order of the day we can drink rolling rock for $10.00 /18 pack of bottles.

I am seriously thinking about brewing my own as well. Is it terribly difficult? Where did you go to buy all your brewing gear?

Dark beers and micro brew are good for a couple. The stoutness of the dark beers can get old after a couple, as well as some micro brews, like bluemoon, that are on the perfume side of taste.

    Coronas my favorite import.

Domestics I like any of the full flavors, the light versions feel like I'm just drinking water with a piece of barley floating in it.

At the bar would rather drink whatever the well whiskey is. I can get buzzed for a couple of days on 20 bucks at home, I am going to make (*)(*)(*)(*) sure I get a buzz for one night's 20 bucks at the bar. LOL

Can't help you with where to get the stuff in the US, but if you start off with a kit it's pretty easy. I don't know how popular the Pre-hopped malt extract (no boil) type kits are over there, but I've found them really simple, and a good way to get going with a reliable success rate of getting decent beer on the first attempt. I started with a kit like this:

    http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/micro/complete-woodfordes-starter-equipment-set.html

That has all you'll need to start, including the first batch of concentrate to brew from (and other concentrates should be easy enough to buy). I guess there'll be something similar available online in the USA (I'm not sure you'd be able to get Woodforde's Wherry concentrate as pictured there, which is a shame - it's a decent beer!). It's really not hard, as long as you follow the basic instructions and make sure that everything is properly sterilised. Well worth having a go at - I've done a few kits, and am thinking about moving on to 'All Grain' homebrewing soon. It's a little bit more complicated (without being anything too daunting, though), but obviously gives you more control over the end result.

It is incredibly delish! The smell and taste of the roasted coconut in that beer is wonderful. I first tried it at a beer tasting event. It was love at first taste! I went out and bought 4 cases of it! LOL

Yeah, there are places in USA where I can buy a similar kit. But I think I wanna go straight to boiling All Grain. I just need to slowly acquire all the items I need to properly do it. A few paychecks at a time and I will have my tools!

    You can buy 33cl beers in the supermarket for €3,8 for 24 units; €3,8/24 = 16 Eurocent/beer.
