I think every person would want to envision a two-state solution, unfortunately it doesn't exist so long as Hamas, the Lebanese fighters, etc exist in that region. You have poor innocent Arabs in the region used as political hostages by the extremist fighters. Even if you did want two-state, you have to destroy Hamas and Hezbollah first in order to get there.

The 2 state solution is what past talks were about that arafat turned down.

The only change is Israel building settlements on land the Palestinians would have gotten if not for arafat.

Israel is wrong in those settlements and are sending a clear signal as to the right wing intentions.
