As you may have heard, Bernie Sanders won Time's poll for "Person of the Year." Link here. Oddly enough, though, he didn't even make it to the top 8. Link here.

Donald Trump made it though.

    Thoughts?

Larry David's illegitimate son doesn't stand a chance. He has no criminal activities and flat out lies to tout as accomplishments like her royal highness does for the far left base who cheer on criminal activity in politicians.

Who cares what some magazine says about him?

I think you miss the point of the whole "Person of the Year" thing. It's not "Favorite Person of the Year." The polls asks readers to select who has been the most influential in the year 2015.

Easy: Trump is the circus entertainer the simple minded want, they want entertainment....it's just so much easier than thinking...

Bernie just delivers the facts like an intelligent leader of a country should and isn't even much fun to make fun of.

Has he not radically changed the tone of the Democratic primary? Has he not broken fundraising records? How about rally turnout records? Or what about the part he had to play in energizing the youth base? All that considered, I'm not sure why you think it's funny that he was overwhelmingly the readers' choice for the most influential person in 2015. I think you're letting your bias against him color your judgement on this particular issue.

Bernie has been instrumental in bringing up issues to the public that need to be addressed, for that, I am 100% behind him. Unfortunately, such concerns have not amounted to a groundswell of needed change from the Republicrat duopoly. Considering just "influence", I'll go with Putin. For better or worse, Russian support for Syria and against the ISIS has been a major game changer in the Middle East.

No, I think bernie sanders is a joke.

I am glad the democrats finally came outta the communist closet. Its good to see them so liberated from hiding their true intentions for the American people.

It used to be so different. Back in the day, democrats would attack you for suggesting they were socialists and communists.

    Karl Marx the spot.... lol

Ok...you can be an influential joke though. Just look at Donald Trump.

Not sure where you got the idea that any Democrats identify with communism. Perhaps the same place you got the idea that Bernie Sanders hasn't been an influential person this year?

That's, uh, still the case. Democrats don't identify with either.

That 74 year-old socialist should be looking forward to retirement and receiving his Medicare and SS checks, instead of spinning some of that ridiculous nonsense he comes up with.

The real question is, what has Bernie Sanders - as a politician for so many years - what has he ever really accomplished?

I'd take Sanders over Clinton any day and probably a few of the Repubs as well. Not that I like a lot of his policies, he just seems more honest about who he is and what he wants to do. If he wins the nomination I'll check him out more and give him an objective look but I doubt he's going to win.

Bernie Sanders thinks that global warming caused a drought in Syria, causing crops to fail, causing people to move to the cities,
causing unemployment, causing unrest, which caused them to form ISIS. What a putz.

I'm curious if Senator Sanders will solve the energy crisis with his flux capacitor.

And trump followers should mind their own damned business, and stop preaching to me everytime I walk past one of their forced induction brainwashing tax free centers (churches.) He's the leader of the racist brainwashed boondoggles.

It will be interesting, however, to see the person whom TIME magazine chooses for its most honored title.

Just shows the stupidity of such polls. What did Sanders do to make himself "person of the year" above all others? Run a losing campaign?

Obviously, Time magazine's readers voted for their favorite person anyway.
