Don't like it because it has more negatives than positives. I don't need a brain cell destroyer to feel good.

That would be doing what Mexicans do, running away from their problems.

My roots in America are five generations deep, the socialist and illegal aliens and immigrants and their offspring who occupy California and send socialist to Sacramento don't.

I'm hoping like many that a President who has a pair will do the same thing President Lincoln did when 11 states were in a state of rebellion, invade and reconstruction.

Just those Californians who aren't American citizens or have really short roots in America.

Well of course you do, that's a gimmie :)

But there is plenty of sources that make the point that he was far more receptive to the change then Mr. Obatard or any President thus far!

I still can't figure out the infatuation blacks have for guns and why they keep shooting each other.

    They also don't know why.

The Declaration of Independence is just that, declaring your independence from some monarchy.

The Declaration of Independence is not the Constitution of the United States.

Basically it was a way to puch King George in the nose from across the Pond.

On July 4th, 1776 nobody saw a United States in the future but 13 sovereign nations.

Yeah ... it is very slim pickens. Warren - ( the one who has the best shot at living to 2020) there is something off -

Biden is having memory lapses .. senility is setting in

Bernie has his mind - but his body is failing.

Let us remember that this is an "Anti Establishment Election" this movement was big in 2016 - on both sides. This movement has grown bigger - look at what a mess the system is and the increasing BS everywhere you look.

Biden is tried and true Establishment material
Warren - there is something off - talks an anti establishment game but - so did Trump.
Bernie - has some street cred - and pretty much invented the anti establishment movement.

If I had to vote Dem - it would be Sanders. Has his mind - and has street cred. What if he chose Tulsi as VP. What an interesting ticket that would be.

What bigger "Anti Establishment" message could you possibly send ? and the voters would come. Tulsi has announced she is not running for congress .. could it be that this is signalling a merger ?

Make sure to get on knee and worship the prophet if the above comes true ;)

"66% of Americans now in favor of legalization - On this basis alone the law is illegitimacy of Authority. "Tyranny" - of the minority".

Hillary won the popular vote in 2016. On this basis alone this Administration is illegitimacy of Authority. "Tyranny" by the minority. Agreed?

if you don't agree, then your statement doesn't hold water.

This will be an Anti Establishment election. Even more so than in 2016 - where the movement was strong on both sides.

    Warren - Biden - Sanders.

Biden can't remember stuff and borderline senile. (getting old) There is something off about Warren - Sanders still has his mind but his body is not doing to well.

Biden - tried and true Establishment
Warren - ?? - Talks an AE game - but - so did Trump.
Sanders - Solid AE Street Cred .. demonstrated track record of anti establishment actions.

What would send a stronger AE message - than a Sanders/Gabbard ticket ?

Well, I do see an upside for the Dems to that idea. A concern about Sanders is his health. If he and Gabbard won the election, and if Sanders became to weak to continue or died, Gabbard would become president. She endorsed him 2016, so maybe that's a possibility.

That is not a valid legal argument (not that you have provided justification for claim but - even if you had done so).

Lots of people who have spent time around a drunk will say having alcohol legal is a bad idea .. but, is this justification for law ?

I have spent plenty of time around people who smoke pot - to excess, and people who drink to excess. and neither is desirable - albeit pot being the far less nasty of the two.

In a free society one has the freedom to risk a reasonable amount of harm to oneself. Where then does the "unreasonable bar" begin - and who gets to decide .. and why ...

What ever rational bar you come up with - the fact that alcohol is legal negates part of your argument from a legal perspective.

66% is the bar .. as per the founding principles. If you can get 66% to agree with you that Pot is so bad - that Gov't should be given authority to use physical violence (Law) to prevent folks from doing it. Then such law would be legitimate.

Society is currently at 33% - only half way to the bar. 66% are in favor of legalization.

I am sensing a deer in headlights reaction to my previous post - I didn't say the DOI was the constitution.

I said the DOI forms the principles by which law and the constitution are supposed to be interpreted - and outlined what those principles were.

You are misunderstanding something - and conflating two completely different issues.

An Election is not a request by the Gov't to mess with individual liberty. It is a different process - that are not comparable in the way you are trying to compare them.

We can debate the popular vote vs the electoral college - from a perspective of the founding principles. This is completely separate from the process by which Gov't is given authority to go outside of scope and mess with individual liberty.

To understand and interpret the U.S.Constitution one needs to use the book that the founding fathers used when drawing up the U.S.Constitution.

The American Constitution is based more on Natural Law aka Law of Nature than English Common Law.

    Vattel's ...-> https://oll.libertyfund.org/titles/vattel-the-law-of-nations-lf-ed

    FYI:
It also helps having a dictionary that was being used back in the day.

Yes .. that is the problem with Sanders - it is a problem with Biden as well though.

So what .. Warren ? I am not on that train. Talks a good game but there are issues.

Hey...I like the American Declaration of Independence.

I'll read it every so often.

The Declaration of Independence sure wasn't politically correct.

If we were only concerned with damage to society and innocent third parties, and we had to choose between weed and booze disappearing from the face of the earth, the only logical choice would be for booze to go and weed to stay.

But they should both stay. And be legal. And blow, and heroin, and meth...

66% needed to mess with individual liberty - that is all you need to remember.

Pardon me but Tulsi is not running for Senate because polling suggests she's doa there as well. Bernie is anti establishment the way your a little green man from Mars. He wants more government controlling even more facets of your life.

I disagree with Heroin and Meth - less so on the blow but not on the same level as booze and pot.

Holly crap, in California the socialist and the reconquista socialist have 76% in Sacramento.

No wonder why California has become America's first third world state.

What is your reasoning on heroin and meth? I can’t rationalize picking and choosing anymore. I used to.

I realize Tulsi is not doing so well in the polls .. and this could well be the reason.

Your comments on Sanders are benign and obtuse and barely related to the context of the conversation - and where it is related you are way off base.

The question is not some black and white paradigm .. as you are presenting. The context is between Biden, Sanders, Warren.

So your comment makes no sense in the above context.

Then your comment is way off base to begin with ... How are you defining establishment ? - and what areas of Gov't control are you referring to. This is a complicated issue that you have summerily dismissed claiming Bernie is a full on Establishment wonk ?

What exactly do you think the Establishment is ?
