over a week ago my desktop started giving me strange patterns right after the initial boot screen. I tried dusting off the inside. Reconnecting the monitor, and when all that failed I did a full factory reset, but that didn't work either. It just went into a reboot loop at the installing Windows screen. After doing all that and still getting the same results I decided to send it in to best buy. And now I feel like I made a mistake.

After telling me it was likely a problem with the cpu or gpu they send it off to another place where more extensive repairs could be performed. 4 days later they call back and say the inside has water damage and rusted parts, thus voiding the warranty. I know this is a complete load of crap because I've been looking around inside my computer before all this and so have the people at the first best buy I sent it to. So if there is indeed water damage then it obviously happened under their care and I should be compensated for the further damage they caused.

Last I spoke to them the manager from the original best buy was talking to them. That was a couple days so and I've heard nothing since. My confidence in them is dying quickly and I'm starting to wonder if my money was flushed down the toilet.
