He lurched sideways them momentum of the car made his limp body fall back....this is autonomic response or the lack thereof, not rocket science

Yes the famous back and to the left movement has long since been discussed.

Much like the splatter of brain matter and blood it is not evidence of a frontal shot.

People assume it was caused by the bullet pushing the head and upper body back and to the left. This however is a result of conditioning by TV and movies. The truth is bullets do not cause people to move in a specific way when they hit bodies. Anyone with the misfortune to have seen real life shooting victims commonly remark about bizarre or strange victims move when hit with bullets especially when suffering head wounds.

Some people move or jerk away from the gun others towards it. Some fall to the side or collapse without any movement like a puppet with it's strings suddenly cut. Yet others do not react at all until they die or lose consciousness later.

Head wounds typically cause strange movements because the bran will react by firing unpredictable signals down the nervous systems causing muscles to contract/ This neuromuscular response can easily over come any force caused by the bullets pushing or impact. In other words JFK's back and to the left movement is the result of other forces not the bullet impact. Neuromuscular response is one, the jet effect is another. The jet effect is caused by the bullet pushing a small amount of blood and brain tissue in front of it. This blood and brain tissue exits first before the bullet and pushes the head back in the opposite direction of the bullet's ballistic path.

Many people argue about the jet effect but it is quite real and proven to be common in head wounds.

One must also remember that the limo was moving forward and Jackie Kennedy was pulling on JFK's upper body as is clearly seen in the video and she was on the left apparently trying to move him back in the seat to see what was wrong with him.

Any of these actions or any combination of them are what caused the backward movement of JFK's body. We know this for two reasons/ If you look carefully at the film you will note a very slight forward movement of the head before the damage becomes visible the backwards movement comes AFTER the damage becomes visible. This means something ( the bullet ) pushed his head forward 2 or 3 inches then the skull begins to explode and only then does he begin to move backwards. If the bullet caused the backwards movement it would have begun before the damage was visible.

The impact of a bullet can only be expected to move a head slightly when it strikes the skull the other movements are caused by other forces.

The second reason we know this is that the autopsy evidence simply proves that the bullet entered from behind and above and all physical evidence proves this while none supports a shooter in front.

No it did not and not lame replies.

He was shot from behind and something else caused the back and to the left movement.

Once again you are assuming that the movement of a victim is predictable when shot it simply is not.

This is why such thing as investigations and autopsies are done. An impression of what one see's does not tell the entire truth.

    Baloney.

While I have done only a limited amount of target shooting in my life, every time I did so the target went backwards, not forward, when the bullet land.

    Not rocket science.

Nonsense ... I shot in Bosnia on 350 meters with my sniper rifle on a sitting enemy sniper who shot several times on UNPROFOR members and hit him in the front of his head ... no nicking of head to the back, but to the front after impact and then falling sideward to the right!

A target is not a person with a nervous system and muscles and skeleton etc.

You keep reinforcing the fact that you are conditioned to expect movement to be a certain way.

When people are shot especially when their brain is damaged the movement is unpredictable. This why they have investigations, gathering of evidence and autopsies so the facts can be determined. The backwards movement is irrelevant and the evidence shows he was shot from above and behind.

    To prove what point?

Can you say every photo or film throughout history proves yours?

    No in fact.

You could selectively gather many photos showing people reacting to being shot the way you think they should and even one which is different debunks your claims.

Sorry, I was unfortunately in combat at this time and had to be cautious not to become the target of another sniper. So no time to take my VHS camera out of my back pack and lay first next to my rifle with full zoom here in 1994 ...

if it is true that shooting anything (whether a target or live thing) from the front makes its brain or body matter go forward you should have no trouble finding plenty of videos to prove it on YT or some other source

    I never said it does.

I said it makes a human body react and move in unpredictable ways. In the case of JFK he just happened to move back and to the left after the instant or impact when his head actually moved slightly forward as the Zapruder film shows. Other people will react and move in many different ways.

It is you claiming that the reaction or movement is always predictable, it is not. The point is the movement proves nothing. The evidence proves your assumption wrong and no evidence supports your assumption.

OK geniuses, for those of you who insist that a frontal shot makes the head go forward, show some pics or YT videos.

    This should be interesting.

One more time what was said was that a bullet to the head causes unpredictable reactions.

Your position is that the reaction is predictable.

Since the unpredictable by definition cannot be proven it is on you to prove that people always react to a head shot the way you claim.

By that logic you must have experienced some violent bullet wounds to the head, considering the "unpredictable reactions" you've shown in these threads.

Every re-enactment using melons or pig heads that I have seen showed the head to move initially away from the impact, the major portion of the blowout to blast outward in the direction of the bullet path, and a small amount of "reaction" splash in the direction the bullet came from.

And then there's the problem of the bullet itself.

The "magic bullet went through Kennedy's back, nicked bone there, hit Connolly and broke six inches of rib, hit him in the wrist (hitting more bones) and then hit him in the thigh. That supposed "magic bullet was only slightly flattened on the back end even though it struck numerous bones, passed through many layers of flesh. clothing, and muscle.

However the head shot...supposedly fired by the same weapon...hit only two pieces of bone (front and side of Kennedy's skull) and nearly completely disintegrated.

    No kidding...that makes sense?

You clearly have not watched many such tests or any at all as they clearly and consistently show the opposite of what you claim.

It makes perfect sense when one remembers the facts.

The head shot hit bone almost immediately, two hard dense objects colliding

The shot to the body hit soft tissue slowing it down and causing it to tumble. That is fact and logically explains the differences.

    That's pure nonsense.

You obviously have no experience with weapons.

Wait...so this tumbling bullet hits all sorts of rib and wrist bone and isn't marred at all...but the bullet that hit ONLY bone was disintegrated?

    That makes sense to you?

    Sure....

    It was marred and significantly.

The other one did not disintegrate it broke apart and most was recovered.

You ignore that the second shot was robbed of much of its energy AND BEGAN to tumble upon hitting kenndys back.

Those two differences logically and sensibly explain the differences.

Marred your butt. It was slightly flattened on the back end after hitting all that bone.

    The head shot didn't disintegrate?

Add that nothing but a few bits were ever found...not coming close to the weight of the original bullet. And the fact that it fragmented actually proves my point.

For all that tumbling it still had enough energy to go through Connolly's back...take out six inches of rib, go through his writs breaking several bones and then enter his thigh...all without hardly doing any damge to it?

That truly IS a Magic Bullet.

There's nothing "logical" about your bombast.
