    Hi,

Lots of talk about best albums, not much about the best sides of a record.

I'll start it off with side 1 of Neil Young's 1970 album After the Gold Rush.

    Tell Me Why
    After the Gold Rush
Only Love Can Break Your Heart
    Southern Man
    Till the Morning Comes

In my opinion the best side 1 closer out there.
Southern Man has a wicked guitar solo.
The rest are just great singer-songwriter tracks that I adore.

Do you agree? Give me some alternatives.

Side 1 of Revolver by the Beatles is another favorite. Absolutely effortless pop nirvana. I don't doubt they could have written hits under deep anaesthetic during surgery lol.

Fresh by Sly and the Family Stone. Recently I read that the opening track, In Time, got high marks from Miles Davis, of all people.
