Best NEW .44 Magnum Lever Action?

Hi,

I'm looking for a reliable lever action rifle in .44 mag. Not all that keen on tubular magazines that load from the end of the rifle.

I hear the Marlins have gone down in quality.

Any suggestions?

 

Henry now has side loaders.

 

I have never had a problem with my Marlin. I reload and have put thousands of rounds through it. You can't go wrong with a Henry.

 

By best friend buys nothing but Henry's.

That rail makes it scary! Just wait til I install the dreaded chainsaw underbarrel attachment!

 

Someone will build one that hakes AR mags; someone will commit a mass shooting with it; liberals will wan to ban it.

The reason many people desire a firearm today with a tubular magazine is because they often are not banned or attempted to be banned as often as other types.

It always pays to have a basic understanding of topics we participate in. Now you do!

 

Unless you are discussing gun control, no. That's what the Firearms forum is for.

When people are asking for suggestions, the discussion must take current gun laws into account. Several posts did bring up gun control.
