If you think Questions is why Biden's numbers are falling, fine. I just happen to think it has more to do with supply and demand, rising prices and empty shelves. It could be a combination of both, It doesn't have to be one or the other. Although I'd wager rising prices and empty shelves and long wait times for what you want has more to do with it than answering media questions.

Yeah free to hear they want to hear. Free from other opinions. People want a place where their opinions are in agreement with others and not get into annoying arguments.

 

It's a CNN news article opinion piece. Todays news commentators offer more than just news they also express their opinions which is still news worthy. Biden's poll numbers are dropping and I think this guy hits it right on the nail as to why.

 

I don't think it is really that. I personally believe Biden won on anti-trump sentiments so his support was already soft with independents. The disaster pull out from Afghanistan was the catalyst in getting those soft supporters starting to openly criticize him.

 

You know I have referred to the six month honeymoon independents gave Biden from inauguration through July to exactly that. Biden received great benefit from independents for not being Trump. I believe Afghanistan brought that to an abrupt halt. Independents basically was giving Biden a 53%, on average overall approval rating through July. Then it sunk, down to 47% in August, down to 43% in September and now sits at 37% from independents.

Now I think it's more than just Afghanistan, although that was the awakening event. Perhaps that event made independents realize Trump was gone, he was no longer president. That we have a new administration in town. That it shifted the focus independents were giving to Trump away from him, that they put Biden and company directly in the cross hairs of their focus. Trump seems to have been thrown into the dust bin of history by independents.

Last Nov to the question of Regardless of whether you agree with him, do you like or dislike Donald Trump as a person? 61% of independents said they disliked Trump as a person. Question 54. The same question, Regardless of whether you agree with him, do you like or dislike Joe Biden as a person? Only 34% of independents disliked Biden. Question 47

History has shown folks usually don't vote for someone they disliked. Biden winning independents 54-41 over Trump shows History is correct.

 

Sure but once you get them to openly disapprove of him, the easier it will be to get them to say it again and again and again. I don't think that Biden can turn it around but at least he has his age as his lifeboat for history as to why he isn't running again. The more interesting dynamic for me right now is that this unhappiness is spreading. Virginia is possibly going to flip red again because of it. The DNC "Big Guns" they are bringing in are all "Trump Trump Trumpsters Trump" and it doesn't seem to be getting them anywhere in the face of rising everything costs. McAuliff has stalled completely and the GOP guy has the momentum shifting his way with undecided's.

Agreed, I thought he was a horrible candidate and I was worried that his presidency would be disaster. I just voted against Trump because in my mind we were effed either way

 

Certainly weren’t effed before a global pandemic hit. Then mainly democrats shut down the economy. Because DeSantis fought the paranoid Florida now counts almost half of the nations new jobs.
