The more America cares more for the INTL Community than our own citizens, we will all suffer the lack of care of our government. We already do as our infrastructure was graded as an F in 2017. We still don't have an infrastructure bill.

Trumpers and gop minions will never get it. Diseases anywhere on earth, threatens Americans. The front to terrorism and disease here, starts overseas, It’s the GOP and their huge deficit generating tax cuts you can blame for poor infrastructure. You think private industry builds with their own investments alone in roads, power lines and mass transit all by itself ? Funny. They never have. Govt tax breaks and subsidies are at forefront of all infrastructure programs of any meaningful size.

No one objects to natural gas pipelines. It is the POLLUTION from tar sands crude pipeline failures that people find objectionable.

Complaining about windmills being ugly when you have miles and miles of FUGLY oil pumps that POLLUTE is the height of hypocrisy.

Right now renewables are still supplemental but once they become commonplace nationwide they supplement each other. Pumped Hydro Storage and batteries will become the preferred supplements once Renewables are the primary source of energy.

Natural gas is likely to remain for heating, cooking and emergency generation of power for many decades still to come.

FTR I am in the process of completing the conversion of my house to 100% solar with battery backup and then it will cost me LESS than using grid based power. My estimate is a 7.5 year breakeven point at CURRENT energy prices and it will end up being less than that because of price increases in the future. I anticipate having almost two decades worth of FREE energy.

Makes FISCAL SENSE for me to do it so why does it not make fiscal sense for utilities to slash their own fossil fuel expenses with Renewables?

This is what Philly and every other US city would look TODAY like WITHOUT that "zero headway" that we have already made.

Outstanding. The idea of renewables is to match the renewable to the local. We did passive solar for years with our last house but live in the woods in a cold climate so it’s pellets and lots of insulation and a propane generator. I commend you for your choices.

Insulation is a smart way to save energy, My retirement location has more than enough year round sunlight to meet my energy needs but I am doing some remodeling to take advantage of local environmental conditions to ventilate and cool the house during the worst of the Summer heat. Only minimal heating is needed here during Winter so just thicker clothing and warmer bedding is sufficient to make it without needing any HVAC system.

And yes, you need to adapt to whatever best suits your own living conditions too. Living in the woods is awesome.

Shouldn't that tell you, mission accomplished? Actually, let me rephrase. So we're pretty much middle of the pack in terms of emissions, etc. We're far from the worst offender and in fact among the first world we're the best in terms of our efforts. So obviously as you show with the pictures: We've done work, right?

It comes down to a principle in economics called the Law of Diminishing Returns. Maybe, as good as we are is as good as it gets. Maybe, getting even better requires the kind of sacrifices that we're talking about that, it just isn't worth it. Maybe China should step up its game, and maybe it shouldn't have to require forking over to THEM all this money.

I'd like to ask our politicians a question: Why do we have to bribe China/EU to meet our standards? Why can't we just, I don't know put that money to the work of the American taxpayer?

I was never a 'Trumper', he was never 'mine'. He simply at a time occupied the Presidency and I wanted his presidency to succeed. Obviously it didn't. I've said this, countless times. At this point, I'm done saying it. If people want to believe I'm a "trumper", that's on them.

And yet Biden is welcoming them in. Got it, us minions don’t get it but the Democrat supporters who are willing to allow illegals enter our country, house them, feed them, and give them FREE medical on top of all the other free stuff they get, AND the reward for being a law abiding citizen and paying your taxes is, illegals that break the law (they’ve already broken the law by being here):

There is a lot more of this happening, you just have to look for it, of coarse the MSM never shows this..?????

YES this could be your family!!!!
The more of them you let in the higher the risk.

ANNNND... you get the privilege of footing the bill!! We’re so stupid, we should have figured this out sooner.

Why don’t those same Democrats protect and provide for the taxpayers of our country??

Show me the post where I said there is no pollution. I never said that. You are pathetic. Your entire thesis is based on things I never said. You cannot defend your own fascist-statist views.

So when is Joe going to nuke India? Too many people and too many carbon emissions. We are in a crisis!!

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/crisis

So what drastic action is your hero Joe going to take to save the planet? He better hurry!!!

We have been told for over 50 years(Actually over 100 years) we were just a decade away from world catastrophe. We are told today we are in a "climate crisis"!!!! I guess that's why the Obama's bought a $12M house in a place that decades ago was supposed to be under 100 feet of water. They are so concerned right?

Was it one of AOC's people who said this climate crap was all a hoax?
    https://www.nationalreview.com/news...e-green-new-deal-is-not-about-climate-change/

Europe is all in on stopping climate change. 20% of their energy comes from renewable sources. 20%! That's the best they can do! After claiming to buy in to all this BS 20%!

It's all a lie a big nothing burger. Who cares if we bankrupt ourselves and double the cost of energy for working people? Who cares of the average price of a car goes up 50%. This is a crisis!

It's called white guilt. Who cares what 90% of the world does? America is evil! There is no climate change anyway. Just a load of BS.

I thought we were in a crisis. Giving the Marie Stopes International organization some money to abort black babies(A lib obsession, aborting black babies) is not enough. Stopping drilling in the middle of nowhere Anwar is not enough. We need to start killing people!!!

    Crisis!!!!! Joe said!

4.3 million more (and not theoretical op-ed ones) and he might beat Trump's record as the worst jobs president in history.

Depends, Is Biden going to completely botch it according to medical studies and medical journals?

BTW, what I wrote was a fact and is still a fact.
