He received a mandate consistent with the party platform to use his authority and power to promote that agenda listed therein. If the voters don't do not give Congress the same mandate, its on them, not Biden. He pleaded with the voters to vote Democratic. I said from the day that the election results showed up, that this man was getting nothing done in Congress that he could not get done through reconciliation. Its not like the voters did not hear about the consequences of not giving Biden a firm majority. The voters were in control, and they decided not to give the Dems enough seats to get that agenda through.
He has zero power with those '2-3' Congressmen. As it is they may just change their party affiliation so they don't need to run in the primary as Dems. That loses Schumer his position as majority leader and turns Dems into the Minority party in the Senate.

The whole concept of your OP is wrong. Biden was not given a mandate to do anything. He was elected because he was not Trump. Democrats out number republicans and they came out in record numbers voting against Trump.

The fact that the House and Senate does not have the same overwhelming democratic majority reinforces that point. The voters did not like democrats in the same numbers in congressional elections that they hated Trump in the presidential election.

Biden is a disaster pure and simple and even most democrats are beginning to realize that.

 

But you're being unrealistic. McConnell, as we saw this week, will do any and everything to make a Democrat Administration to fail. With Manchin and Sinema dedicated to their own reelection, regardless of how it affects our country, is little hope that Biden will get much done at all. Biden needs to grab himself by the ass and realize that everything he does MUST contribute to Democrat wins in 2022 and 24. IF he doesn't Benedict Donald will get reelected, create an Autocratic PERMANENT Presidency for himself and none of your wish list will ever see the light of day. IF you want to ever see gains in your list, or the continuation of The Republic, the Big Lie and the Big Liar must be defeated

 

President Biden may not be the success you hoped for. But he hasn't tried to overthrow our government and it's Constitution.

 

That does not make him any less a disaster.

As I have said before. Out of a population of over three hundred million, we should have been able to do better than Hilary Clinton, Trump and Biden.

I want America to prosper, not like it was with Obama with record high corporate taxes and near record high regulations that cost us over 300,000 manufacturing jobs and had the worst recovery in 50 years, America can't afford that. We are in a fight for our economic life with manufacturing giants around the world and our businesses must compete. When we should be bringing in some of the smartest people in the world, we are flooding America with low educated and skilled illegals and refugees. All the while other nations are beginning to clean our clock. We depend on China and other nations to pay our bills, but call ourselves the richest country in the world. We have put our priorities in the wrong places. We need to put America first and keep the gay flag off our embassies. Who's stupid idea was that anyway? It needs to be ruined. They sneaked the amnesty bill into the infrastructure bill because they knew it wouldn't pass on it's own. The bill is loaded down with Liberal crap. Their Green New Deal will accomplish nothing but chase business away and raise prices on fuel, heating oil and electricity on people who can least afford it.

 

Every single poll during the primaries, suggested that the number one goal for the nominee, was NOT based on getting any agenda item passed. Voters in those primaries were judging these candidates on which one could beat Trump. Electability was EVERYTHING. Biden was selected over Sanders, Buttigieg, Bloomburg, Warren, Klobuchar etc, because Democratic voters decided that he was their best chance to beat Trump. That was his mandate. And that is what I needed him to do. Everything else is gravy for me.

 

Between tRump and Biden it wasn't a choice. Nothing President Biden has done has put the Republic in jeopardy. Benedict Donald's GOAL is to end it, and make himself president for life, WITH his kids as successors.

With his open border, he has allowed in Covid-19, rapists, murders and who knows what since they have not been vetted.

I am pretty sure the Americans he deserted in Afghanistan would disagree. That does not include the Afghanistans who helped us to whom we promised they would be able to come to the US.

That is only in the first nine months and he has at least another twenty seven to go.

Well since you didn't include my whole post it's hard to be sure what you're talking about. But if you are referring to my calling tRump, Benedict Donald, I do it because since Benedict Arnold, no single American has possed the threat to OUR Nation that Donald Judas tRump does. I'm as serious as a heart attack; nothing "silly" intended; by the way.

 

Biden did not receive any Mandate. Most people that voted for him simply voted for him because he wasn't Trump.

1: "Protect Roe v Wade" : There is no way for him to protect it. Biden has no say in how SCOTUS rules. Unless you're suggesting that you stack the court? Even RBG said to not do it. Even WAPO recommends against it.

2: "Protect Democracy" : The only way to do this is to get new Congress Critters in place both on a National level and a State level. It certainly wasn't going to be done with that so called "For The People Act". It was a Democratic Party wish list to gain more power. Nothing more.

3: "Fix Healthcare" : This is the last thing on Biden's radar at the moment.

4: "Mitigate the effects of AGW" : The Green New Deal was and is nothing more than a pipe dream by idiots. In any case its not on the radar at the moment so GL.

5: "take noticeable steps towards ending institutional racism" : There is no such thing. Its BS propaganda by socialists.
