As for defense budget. The budget plan is already fix. Our parliament voted for it. It cant be changed. There is no way in the german constitution to rechange a fix budget plan. Beside that there is no need for it. The german people voted accordingly. Its called democracy.

We are one of the most powerful economies on this planet. If we rise our defense budget to 2%, we would get the 2nd largest military force on this planet. We dont face security risks that would need us to have such a military.
