Maybe you didn't read right. PR was totally without power before the hurricane even came and now things are much worse now that the hurricane is there. Again, you guys care more about words than the reality. Did FEMA restore power? Did FEMA stop the flooding? The left were getting all over Trump for not authorizing billions of dollars in aid. Here we have not even one dollar in aid while Trump sent billions.

Biden will probably avoid PR like he does with the border, it's full of brown people.

And attacking the Biden Administration makes all the conservative media outlets money too.

And what Trump did in 2017, playing politics with Puerto Rico, or how Conservatives played politics when a hurricane devestated New England Area in 2013 is totally uncalled for.

What the hell does that have to do with the hurricane being worse or not? And you have been demanding that they criticize Biden for the response even before the Hurricane was done with the island. This is definite proof that your post blind partisan B.S. Trump was criticized when days passed and he did NOTHING. Very likely because he didn't know that PR is part of the US.

Bottom line, you are desperately trying to find something to criticize: the strength of the hurricane, the response WHILE the hurricane was still there, the press.... Hopefully you understand that this desperation SHOWS... and it eliminates any credibility whatsoever to your complaints.

You left out how Obama played politics when Texas had uncontrollable wild fires.

What's truly hilarious is you pretending like you can't understand that I meant the local government of Puerto Rico... You know the ones that were actually hoarding the Reconstruction infrastructure supplies and going on TV crying about the president.

And you ate it up like the Kool-Aid it was

So Puerto Rico's full of Republicans is it?

Evidently there aren't very sympathetic to Trump. Hide and hoard all the materials and then blame it on Trump.

Is it possible to sink any lower? It’s really laughable reading the vomit you type:) I’d say you were trying to be funny but we don’t think so. You’re serious aren’t you?

So you don't like local government anymore. Funny how the right winger's narrative changes to fit ideological convenience.

And here you were in another thread just talking about the importance of facts....

Yet you just make up crap as though it was the other person's position and throw it at the wall and see if it'll stick.

How convenient to create a whole thread to make an accusation like that and not bother providing any verifiable link. Actually doing research would be too much work, wouldn't it?

This is why authoritarianism in this country, when it comes, it will come from the right. Because that's where those who are most vulnerable to fake news and impermeable to FACTS are.

Just for reference: I know when I should take a poster seriously because when they make a claim or an accusation, they normally include references. Not doing that is sign that the accusation is not intended to be taken seriously. So I don't...

Oh I'm sorry... With you having been here for years and we having thoroughly discussed Puerto Rico's government's hoarding up supplies and multiple threads on this forum.... I just assumed that your memory would allow you to remember something that is inconvenient to your political position.

My mistake.... I shall remember that you have selective political memory in the future.

And furthermore you having the nerve to talk about someone taking a poster seriously.... You of all people..... Is absolutely hilarious.

After Maria all the airports and shipping ports were closed for quite some time so the only way to get goods and supplies in was through military aircraft especially helicopters and V-22 Osprey. All airports and shipping ports are open now. Fiona cannot be compared to what we experienced after Maria finished destroying everything in her path which was considerable due the her size and category. Fiona barely touched the southwest part of PR. Size does matter.

People making comments about supplying 'references', that use their opinion posts and threads as support for their current opinions and threads... circular arguments just don't get any better than that!! The lack of 'reference' or support for certain posts is just mind boggling...

Does this matter? This the excuse for not declaring a national emergency immediately and dispatching FEMA orders IMMEDIATELY? Seriously?

Don't apologize. Just show us you're serious and include references when you make a wild claim. So we know what the hell you're talking about.

BTW, another reason I might not take a post seriously is when it's off-topic. Make sure it's on-topic before you send your references. The OP leads the way. Make sure your post has something to do with it.

You may wish to go back and read the first post in this thread so you know what the topic is about.

In case you missed it it's about the media's completely different coverage of Puerto Rican hurricanes depending on who the president is.

The government and utilities companies of Puerto Rico hoarded reconstruction supplies and warehouses and then went on camera and complained that Trump didn't do anything. Do I really need to look that up for you because your memory is so inconveniently short?

There were at least several threads here of great length where it was discussed. And you were here at the time. . I hear there's an herbal supplement known as ginkgo biloba that can help you out with that sort of thing.

And my claim is not "wild"..... It's a well-known fact to those who were paying attention at the time and don't pretend that they don't know how to remember it now.

I can tell you FEMA arrived here in Puerto Rico immediately after the storm cleared the area and it was safe for them to travers the island.
