I never said all change was good, just noted that is is always happening. No matter how much people fight against it, change will keep happening.

Morals never change? There are some things that God ordered in the OT that most of us would not find acceptable today, such as the killing of children and women after winning a battle.

 

Things happened in the OT to demonstrate our inability to cope with sin. You take examples and make them moral rules. That has never been the point. Women and children can be overcome with evil to the point of no return. So you say we should not resist change for evil because change is good? Do you think we are "called" to sit by and watch it? You do at least when it comes to language. Language comes from the heart as I have said. Yeah, on many things it comes down to good and evil and I understand the "world" prefers to operate in shades of grey. You overlook my sin and I'll overlook yours. It doesn't hurt anybody. I beg to differ. Anytime someone makes a stand, in your case with "language", it raises all kinds of ire with those whose standards are the least common denominator. God is the Creator of all things. He has our complete and total interest at heart. You believe you know better. Your understanding it would seem is better than His. Are you one of those that dismisses Him entirely? God called Israel at one time to be His example to the world. I believe they failed. That was His purpose. Now through them we can all recognize our own failures. We must discern evil.

You said exactly what I am saying. Your premise is based on the idea that there is no "absolute morality" it is all relative, and of course that completely dismisses the exitance of God. So who said it was evil for women to vote?....a few relativity moral thinkers as yourself. Not God. Jesus held women in high esteem and appeared to them 1st at his resurrection.
