Joe Biden let slip that his campaign was collecting dirt on his rivals for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination.


“I mean, I get all this information about other people’s pasts, and what they’ve done and not done. And you know, I’m just not going to go there. If we keep doing that — I mean, we should be debating what we do from here," Biden told CNN in a Friday interview, referring to the crowded field of two dozen White House hopefuls."

Biden, being a vice-president might have old news about the 2016 candidates, but he shouldn't have info about the new candidates running now. If he does then something strange is going on.

 

I think your first post answered your second. You get that high up in the government, I can't see how you WOULDN'T make some permanent "friends" over at the FBI, the CIA, OR the IRS.

Wouldn’t have the faintest idea if Biden is serious about this but one thing is for certain, to play that game is electoral suicide.
Trump may have gotten away with it but I doubt it will work a second time on the other side of US politics. The US just gets stranger and stranger though so maybe we shouldn’t try and predict the direction American madness is going to lurch next?
