Social security in its current form absolutely needs to die, we need to model a system after Canada.

All healthcare related programs need to be combined into a single national program which would cut down on cost and eliminate duplication.

    So what?

Trump previously held the views of a Liberal NY Democrat.

    People change.

That was then, this is NOW.

This Biden "Story" is an Epic Fail on the part of the RW:bored:

As usual, Canada leads the way in social programs

While Australia and New Zealand show us how rational gun control looks.

Makes you wonder if that brouhaha back in 1776 was really worth all the fuss.

No. You just don't give a damn about policy. Image and narrative is what matters so your team wins.

There are a lot of Democrat presidential candidates running for office this year for the 2020 election. A lot of them are offering free stuff. But, I don't see how Biden can win in such a race when he's promising budget cuts in a balanced budget. Now what, Are people still going to vote for Biden? I'm not going to.

Republican want to kill social security, it's really sad, put the elderly and the disabled on the streets...

I agree with the universal health care, many on both sides do

The US has already tried that and it failed miserably. Most people with any sense of morality do not want old people dying of starvation or losing their homes because they have not planned appropriately.

Welcome to living in a civilization

Biden was for cutting SS some years ago. The Republicans want to do it NOW.

Maybe the Dems want to cut it 10% and raise taxes on the rich for the rest. The Pubs will be for cutting it out completely and using the Medicare Trust Fund to finance a giant party of hookers and cocaine open only to Pub Congressmen and Billionaires.

Did Biden specifically say that he would cut soc security? No, he did not and I guarantee you that he will not embrace all of Obama's policies. Why would he? Nah

Yeah well the money I put in is mine, not anyone elses, that's how it's supposed to work. But congress has stolen that money and spent it on other crap. I don't expect to see a dime of it.. SS isn't a tax to be distributed. It's the government taking my money and investing it for me.. it's not other peoples money. It's not intended to be taken and given to other starving old people they have their own.

Did Biden say that? Trump said that he would shore up social sec and Medicare and wants to reduce benefits.

However, he said that the top 1% don't need soc sec and maybe we need to look at that issue. That is not cutting benefits for the rest of us.

Making it not universal makes it an entitlement and thus opens the door to getting cut entirely in the future. He also uses a Republican talking point that we have to cut SS to be able to afford social programs. Of course, he won't touch the Military Industrial Complex.

Here is Biden arguing FOR corruption.

Be without illusion. His legislative record is very right wing. His top donors are financial institutions, Big Pharma, the healthcare cartel, and the MIC.

Biden is a centrist, not left and not right. He wants to take from the super wealthy and help take the financial pressure off working-class Americans, and that is why the unions give him so much support. He has true feelings for the working middle class and not just sound bites like Trump who gives huge tax reductions to the super wealthy at the expense of our national debt. Trump simply doesn't give a damn about the little guy and that has been his history.
Big corporations support Biden because they know what Trump is all about and they also have dealt with Biden in the past. If he is very right wing, that is ok with me as I consider myself a Reagan Republican. Reagan was a pragmatic president and we sure as hell don't have that now. Biden is NOT in favor of corruption. He is not a corrupt person as his past indicates. Can you say the same for Trump?

Biden: "I was ready to prostitute myself."

    Look here:

You don't research at all, clearly. Narrative over facts. He's even on video saying it himself. Its just incredible how powerful tribalism is.

Tribalism is alive and well in your orbit, for sure. Look at the nitwit you elected and continue to support in spite of his nefarious conduct. It is not tribal to support anybody who opposes that incompetent, divisive con-man, an "extremely stable genius".

I voted for Bernie and Jill Stein. It is tribal to support a candidate with very similar policies to the guy who does mean Tweets. Someone who cares about policy would know about these things.

It is indeed tribal to only care about your team winning.

I don't only care about my team winning. I do care about the character of the person who is running for office, whether Dem or Repub.
