These things have been discussed ad nauseum already, I'm not wasting my time re-telling you things which you already know (but will refuse to admit.)

Unemployment has been falling since 2010 or 11. Shen unemployment falls it usually causes the entire set of unemployed people to drop in numbers.

I challenge the premise that Trump was the agent that caused Black unemployment to drop. What law, executive order or regulation did Trump sponsor that specifically targeted Black unemployment ? If he did that why is he being prejudiced and only helping Blacks? Why has he not passed a law to help Whites who are unemployed? After all us White people deserve to be employed also not just Blacks.

If Trump being unfair to Whites? LOL

The RP never switched sides. The RP has never been the party of institutional racism and segregation in America.

Black American activists should be working with Trump to push through reform instead of trying to frag him for the DP.

"The Senate on Tuesday overwhelmingly passed a sweeping overhaul of the criminal justice system, after a remarkable political shift from Republicans who voted in large numbers to save money by reducing prison sentences, handing a rare bipartisan victory to President Trump.

The First Step Act passed on a vote of 87 to 12, with dozens of Republicans, including longtime holdout Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), joining all 49 members of the Democratic caucus to approve legislation that even some GOP supporters fear could leave them vulnerable to charges of being soft on crime.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa) tried to allay those concerns shortly before the final vote, stressing that Trump “wants to be tough on crime, but fair on crime” — and had told him personally that he had his “pen ready to sign this bill.”

And minutes after the vote, Trump tweeted his congratulations to the Senate, stressing that his “job is to fight for ALL citizens, even those who have made mistakes.”"
THE WASHINGTON POST, Congress overwhelmingly passed the First Step Act, a sweeping overhaul of the criminal justice system, on Dec. 20, representing a major pivot by the GOP., By John Wagner and Karoun Demirjian, December 18, 2018.

Obama did underestimate the resilience of the American people, but given the grim conditions so many of us faced after the 2008 housing crash his pessimism was understandable.

No one could have anticipated the massive positive impact Trump has had on the US economy.

    It is today.

Ask the presidents of HBCUs how that worked out for them working with Trump.

That's good, but most folks are screwed at the state level.

When is he going to start being the president of all Americans. He only cares about his base.

Yes, in 2010, it was difficult for people to picture a better future. I still remember senior students in my class who graduated, who were terrified about entering a bleak job market at that time. The graduates from that year will probably have a lifetime of lower earnings just because of bad luck of entering the job market at a very inconvenient time. The same way, people today cannot picture that there WILL be times again, maybe even in the very near future, where conditions may be similar again as in 2010. What would Trump do, should it happen under his watch?

Most black Americans are screwed in DP run urban Hell Holes like Baltimore. It has been obvious that this is not an accident for at least half a century.

"n the House of Representatives, there are 257 who are Democrats; only 177 are Republican. In the Senate there are 67 Democrats; only 33 are Republicans. The Party that you backed controls two-thirds of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and still they can’t keep their promise to you, ’cause you’re a chump."

Trump may be the last president who will be receptive to substantive change for the benefit of black Americans. It is an opportunity for change that should not be squandered.

Stop attacking him then. Why would anyone want to help folks that are constantly attacking them?
