The democrats may have once again snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They had all the momentum in this off year election where the party in the Whitehouse historically loses big. Their antcs in the Kavenaugh hearings may have been yet another dem over reach where they shoot themselves in the foot.

"After 2016, but especially after Kavanaugh, Democrats should be asking whether an increasing focus on identity politics is actually enlarging their coalition. The more explicitly you target specific identities, the more likely you are to alienate the identities against which they’re implicitly framed. As Nate Cohn of the New York Times wrote in 2016, one way to think about Trump’s victory was that white working-class people started voting like a minority group — and were 40 percent of the electorate.

And one way to think about the Red Undertow is that while women make up half the electorate, so do men. If something runs up the women’s vote but threatens the other half of the country, it’s likely to be at best an electoral wash. Or worse, if some of the women in the electorate think of their brothers and fathers, husbands and sons, whose fortunes are inextricably tied to their own."

Trump's farting-through-silk cronies thrill at his pandering to their passion, but
their consuming fetish is now being deployed by the hoi polloi against them.

With the fresh infliction of the extremely unpopular privileged prepster Brett Kavanaugh (aka the passing-out drunk "Bart O'Kavanaugh") on the American people, and the demeaning of a victim of sexual assault by Lyin' Don, the old geezers are about to get b!tch-slapped and hoist with their own petard: Money!

Said when this is all over
    You'll be in clover
    We'll go out and spend
    All of your blue money
    Blue money
    Blue money

    Ooh juice money, loose money
    Juice money, loose money, honey
    (Do-do-do, do-do-do-do)
    What kind a money, honey?

    (Do-do-do, do-do-do-do)
    Juice money, loose money
    Blue money (do-do-do, do-do-do-do)
    Juice money
    Loose money (do-do-do, do-do-do-do)
    Blue money

Post like this give me hope. The people who preach Hillary Clinton's landslide victory are just as delusional then as they are now.

The blue wave is coming. Preach it brother.

Just like last time they collude with the media to produce polls showing them winning everywhere and then they have to campaign accordingly like they believe those polls are legit. They literally thought Texas was in play and 2016 and sent campaign resources there instead of campaign in battleground States

Polls today have been rendered useless.
The media overplays and spins so much that it is impossible anymore to tell what is going to happen. Both sides convincingly show they have the numbers. Obviously that can't be true.
The media contributed to Hillary's loss as stated above her campaign managers believed the media hype...IMO, they are doing it again.

Even Trump expecting to lose to Clinton (while Michael Moore nailed Lyin' Don's electoral college victory) must be getting to be an especially feeble, tired diversion from current reality.

The empirical reality of Democrats suddenly outraising the traditionally-well-bankrolled GOP nationwide and by such a wide margin is to Trump's credit.

If you were worried that the democrats were going to lose I would be worried that they were going to win. The one thing democrats are consistent at is being wrong.

That's why your post give me hope.

If Americans elect a Democratically-controlled House, they will no longer be dependent upon the Trump Justice Department Special Counsel and the exposure of income tax fraud to redeem the nation. Congressional investigations to expose the truth will abound. They may even assist your messiah in fulfilling his repeated promise to come clean with his tax returns.

Meanwhile the lowlife's braying about physical attacks and trying to deny assassinations to defeat the free press (the "Enemy of the People") is getting his goons all wee wee'd up.

The only thing that democrats have to offer the American people is trump impeachment. They will look for a parking ticket he didn't pay 20 years ago and nail him to the wall for it.

The fact all you have is how bad trump is does not inspire people to vote for you. You will be disappointed in November.

Hillary outspent Obama and she lost. Hillary outspent Trump and lost again. It's the candidate - not the money.

They are democrats. Most of the money they take in goes to line the pockets of the people in their inner circles.

The only thing we can count on is that no matter how stupid and corrupt the Republicans get, the Democrats will be one step behind them ... we really need a viable third party in this country.

That is true about the polls.

Still there is the reporting of Blacks, Latinos, Asians.....supporting Trump more than they did with his election. Now he has a Native American Coalition.

Then there is the Reporting on Blue Dog Demos increasing support of Trump.

    Then theres # Walkaway.

India has like a zillion parties and their citizens are for more engaged in politics. I would like to see something like that happen in America.

Money alone does not guarantee success, but candidate and money are inextricable.

Without Trump, Democrats would not be receiving unprecedented enormous financial support, and about to take control of Congress.

Where is Lyin' Don's promised "something terrific!" plan that "covers everybody!" at "less cost!"?

Congressional Republicans vowed, since its inception, to repeal and replace the ACA, staging over 50 impotent "show" votes to that end.

Trump vowed to repeal and replace the ACA "immediately!"

Trump and the GOP Congress have shared the power to fulfill their stated, common commitment for the past 21 months.

What have they achieved regarding the ACA over 21 months?

This is true because democrats like Gavin newsome are promising anyone and everyone who manages to come and go from America unchecked and unregulated health care paid for by the American people.

So just out of curiosity when you put those words in quotes were you being purposely deceptive and trying to fool people into believing Trump said those words or were you yourself fooled into thinking that and didn't know you were quoting a fake news headline and not Trump?

I accurately quoted the headline concerning Trump's reply to an AP reported:

Following his insistence that the midterm vote is all about him - “I’m not on the ticket, but I am on the ticket, because this is also a referendum about ME!” - his denial is amusing, is it not?

You are confused if you are addressing me as "you guys."

I never opined that Trump was directly complicit with Putin in the Russian subversion of a US election to help Trump.

Further, I noted that partisan interests were of little consequence compared to defending the US against such a hostile attack.

My personal preference is that an impotent P-Grabber cling to office until 2020, but partisan preferences are irrelevant.
