for their patients to do a invasive, liberal, dangerous surgery and the doc's Cash Register
is going cachang cachang cachang.... Surgeries are far far far from Conservative ...

And also all the steroids docs inject in the knee joints, damages the joints more and more
    and eats up what cartli

So many do these replacements and do have cartlidge in the joint, they walk, then bend their knees and many don't have pain, but that Bone on Bone....here comes, often an unnecessary major surgery....and the outcome could be so worse than what they had.

My friend just got the "bone on bone" from an ortho doc yesterday, and she walks, bends her knees and has NO PAIN but the doc is trying to convince her she is doomed....

Those 3 words are favorites of the joint surgeons. $$$$$$$$

I live with a damaged knee from hip replacement mess and doing all I know how to
to keep the knives from my body.

Medicine and surgeries come with great price tags.....

Question Question Question and THINK about what is going to be done or what has
been done to your body. I can think deeper now that I've experienced damage.

Yes, this is an issue. You did not write out a very clear or coherent post, but I agree with what you are saying.

When a doctor has a certain specialty, he will think that procedure is appropriate for all cases. As the saying goes, "To a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail". Many intensive orthopedic surgeries should only be done in last resort situations when all the other options are terrible and unbearable. People imagine these surgeries are going to be a cure-all, when that is often far from the case and can cause more life long lasting problems than they alleviate.

These doctors do not always know what the best course of action is, and even when they should know, their thinking can sometimes be biased by the incentive of money. There is also the temptation to want to "do something" to solve the problem, when logic and statistics suggest that doing nothing, or doing less, may have the highest chance of leading to the best outcome.

Just a few months ago I was telling one of my parents NOT to let an orthopedic doctor talk them into getting a knee replacement, and to discuss it with me first before they ever decided to get that procedure.

There are several other much less invassive procedures and treatments available. Less effective, but far less likely to do long-term damage.

An MD in our town was planning to be a surgeon and when ended up with a botched shoulder surgery he changed his course of medicine. He's a very smart doc and avoids surgery and sees so many patients that don't want a surgery and so many who have
had them and living in pure hell and go to him for help.

He does Prolotherapy work which includes injections of Dextrose, PRP and Stem Cells, and all become more expensive as
they go on. Dextrose being the oldest and the least costly, it does work and I've had it in my one shoulder and 5 sessions in my knee and then got a knee infection, long story, ended up on 2.5 months of IV abx drip and then knee was "cleaned out" and I truly believe that work made it worse. Modern medicine comes with it's pitfalls.

He doesn't knock the surgeons but knocks the surgery.

It's a heavy dose of cold reality when one finally comes to realize their doctor, like all doctors, are just "practicing".

Look into this Regenerative Medicine work to prevent invasive surgeries that may or not work for your betterment. All it takes is desire and funds and a doctor who does this work.
