I am about a 1/3 of the ay through, so far it is very interesting and engaging. Essentially covering the debate regarding the right to keep and bear arms, and gun control in America. Has pointed out that the research on both sides of the debate can be equally flawed, or even fabricated. Seeks moderation in gun control, rather than swaying to the extreme side of gun control or the extreme side of gun rights.

Also, another interesting bit, the NRA attempted to sabotage DC vs. Heller. Very interesting indeed.

Anyone else read it or heard of it?

Jut read an interesting chapter concerning founding father's gun registration and gun confiscation. Very interesting.

I've heard of Adam Winkler and this book but I never read it. The author himself is a law professor and constitutional scholar. Supposedly it actually looks at the gun control debate in a fair and balanced way, which is a rarity amongst most authors on the subject. Again, I haven't read it.

I have almost finished it, it is very insightful.

Seems to be very balanced, essentially dismissing the extremes on both side of the spectrum.

There are numerous issues that I have embraced before that are in fact incorrect and have little historical basis.

I finished it last night, an excellent read.

Well worth the time. For $18 its worth getting away from the paranoid delusions of the NRA and Brady Campaign.
