Why. What's wrong with girls being girls and boys being boys once in a while. Why do they have to be forced together?

 

What they are called, and their creed is not the issue. Frankly, when my daughter got into brownies I was sorry they were not structured just like the cubs. So I'm not a hardliner. But the fact is, they were different. Their approach to earning badges is different, the importance of those badges are different. Of course, if a trans kid joins, zhe'll want to make things more agreeable to that point of reference. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm saying they should start their own.

In a way higher view -- this constant behavior of progressives that I can only call Invasion of the Body Snatchers is so odd. Rather than define what they ARE and organize around it, they invade existing entities and "fundamentally transform" them -- like Pod people. They did it with the Democratic party - which is now nothing... They do it with words, with sex, with institutions like boy scouts. It's is truly creepy and kind of sociopathic.

And there is nothing wrong with girls being girls and boys being boys. If that's what they choose.
I've seen plenty of girls who are tomboys. Not the same as transgender, but some could be.

I doubt a trans kid is going to change the boy scouts.
There is what, 0.1% trans kids. They'd be an organization of 1 in most places.

The D party is transforming no one or group. Those people have existed since near the dawn of man. It's just now, maybe even again, they are being recognized for who they are instead of how one wants to define them. Put them in a box.

I would not be at all surprised at some point in the future, it might just be scouts. No boy or girl definitions. Just my opinion.

Well, think about your positions. In your world, what would they be organizing around? You say the BSA doesn't need to be for boys. It can also include girls and transgenders and somehow that isn't going to effect the focus and identity of the organization. Don't forget the atheists who will insist "God" be removed, and the globalists who will want "America" removed.

By the time everyone is included, it will be the nothing scouts.

(But that's the goal of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, isn't it.)

 

I didn't say they don't need boys.
I said IMO, in some future, I can see the BSA just being scouts. No need to separate scouts, 1 for boys and 1 for girls.
Sure the focus may change, nothing stays constant in the world, except change.
The boy scout are private, and don't have to do anything they don't want.
