    So if there is a tapped phone somewhere in America and Trump happened to talk to that person, that means Trump indirectly?? I suppose it does, but there's a lesson there, dontcha think??? Don't do business over the phone with people suspected of wrongdoing by the FBI (by that, I mean most anybody Trump might normally talk to).....

    The FBI or CIA were investigating Russian involvement however the context you posted is absurd it's Republican Rhetoric.

    The point is not that most people tell a lie once in a while. The point is Dowd was concerned that Trump would be untruthful under oath, and as his lawyer advocated Trump not interview with Mueller.

    I'd challenge you to name a President that has lied more times than Trump. He lies about things that don't matter and are easily disproven, and puts his staff in the very difficult position of justifying and backing his lies.

    Zarqawi headed up AQI which was decimated by the surge. The couple of hundred survivors fled into Syria and started ISIS. If Obama had not pulled out military and intelligence personnel out of Iraq in 2011 ISIS would never have successfully invaded Iraq.

    No back tracking. The US is not engaged in a war in Syria. We sent troops back into Korea ~ 70 years ago and one of the most successful economies in the world has resulted.

    I agree with Dowd about trump testifying

    Not only is it a perjury trap but it will not end the investigation sooner

    Mueller will pursue trump as long as both are still in office no matter what

    If it were a perjury trap as you say, then you yourself are admitting Trump will lie. Are you okay in knowing he is going to lie?

    I'm beginning to wonder if the Republican party still has or has ever had an ounce of decency?

    I started asking myself this question way back when the Republican party had its secret dinner during Obama's inauguration and decided they would try and hijack everything Obama wanted to do. Now I can safely answer that question. "NO"!

    Ay yes, what could possibly smell worse in the morning than a bunch of Republicans worried about their illegitimate president getting caught lying from a perjury trap versus a community organizer? Lol!
    In the meantime, that perjury trap is what the Right is concerned about. They know Trump is going to lie, because they know he has already lied. Now that boys and girls is grade A "disgusting".
