We need to weed out anyone that had anything to do with the hoax generating Mueller team. She oversaw the prosecution of Flynn and now that's up in the air. They indefinitely suspended his sentencing. The judge in his case is a no nonsense judge that is focused on the law, regardless of his party affiliation. Now she is involved in another case where the prosecution team possibly lied to their superiors in the sentencing of Stone. Pulling her nomination is the totally right thing to do.

As far as the voters go, they are tired of the Democrats investigating everything based on what they disagree with. Schumer wants to investigate the removal of the attorneys from the Stone case. It's just for political show but people are tired of the political show for drama's sake.

They haven't resigned form the DOJ. They resigned from the case and went back to their original offices.

As happy and gleeful as they were when they they were operating under the delusion that Trump was being ground up in the Kafkaesque gears of the Mueller chopper and the impeachment crusher, it brings me nothing but joy to hear their bleatings now that the worm has turned and the shredder of Trump has become a meat grinder of their own.

    Music to my ears.

Cook that sweet junk down and slam it into my veins.

Whatever... Trump was the one who nominated her, meaning she was probably in the bag to begin with.

Flynn lied to the FBI and pleaded guilty to that and Stone was found guilty by a federal jury. They had two valid cases against two scumbags...

I think your supposition about lying to their superiors is crap... if that was even the allegation, it's likely all 4 men would have been summarily (and gleefully) fired by the Administration of Anger, not be allowed to remove themselves from the case.

Right now the question is actually whether Flynn DID lie and under what circumstances if he did. Sullivan is giving credence to one of two possibilities. Bad faith on the part of the DOJ or bad representation from the original defense legal team. That is still to be determined.

Many defendants claim bad defense team.... very few succeed...

I suspect Liu asked for her name to be withdrawn.

Roger Stone will still be sentenced, don't worry. He's just not going to be excessively sentenced. We don't do political persecutions in this country. You can get off the ledger that Nancy Pelosi commanded you on.

Likewise, the lying prosecutors leaving the case seem to be able to get work elsewhere.

The Dems recommended sentencing way beyond the guidelines.

Didn't they have this guy in solitary confinement?

Rogue Dems just won't stop. The Deep State is lawless.

One of them quit his job

Trump fired everyone who testified against him. Frog marched a decorated war vet out of his job. His minions have literally admitted he was doing exactly what he was impeached for (but acquitted by the repubs because “they didn’t prove their case), but dont worry, he didn’t do anything here. These prosecutors are grand standing right ? I mean, he did learn his lesson.....right ?

Well sure, when you have the AG of the US in your pocket, anything could happen...

This is terrible... My country is now no better than Chile in the 1970's or Chicago in the 1920's

You should be ashamed of yourself for supporting this...

    All of you...

The guideline is a max of 21 months. The prosecutors were seeking 108 months.

Lying to their superiors about the sentencing recommendation. I have no information that they lied in trial. And no, we don't. Or at least we shouldn't. But Crossfire Hurricane did happen.

And it's not a political persecution when you fail to do what your BOSS tells you to do. I know that Washington in the old days has a scratch your back policy, but Nationalists don't play that game. In a Nationalist government, you fail to serve the government then you're fired.

Who says the guideline is a max of 21 months??

Oh... right... the defense team, who is actually asking for probation in lieu of even 21 months.

The maximum sentences for all the counts for which Stone was found guilty is 50 years... I find it ridiculous for anybody to state 21 months is the "max guideline".
