If he is extricated to the US, he is not at risk of being killed....by the Government at least. If he has dirt on the Clinton's, then all bets are off.

Inevitable. Never doubted this day would come.

Assange will spend the rest of his life in prison, or at least until some idiot "pardons" him like that idiot Obama pardoned Chelsea Manning.

Manning got pardoned by Obama but refused to testify so the DOJ went after him. Assange will be key. Now that he is in the hands of the Brits, the DOJ can supersede that indictment with additional charges related to 2016 DNC and HRC. He will be extradited but it could take some time.

Like when Assange stayed in an interview that they did not post full credit card info during the DNC email dump?

    That wasn’t a lie??

Your truths depend on your political alignment. Nothing more nothing less

LOL - I've read that personal hygiene isn't Assange's gig. I wonder if the embassy staff's inability to stomach that disgusting little bugger is what led to all this. :puke:

They had him "further arrested" by US law enforcement there with an extradition request before he even arrived at the station.

It could take years if the British authorities adhere to the rule of law. An extradition process is a complicated one. If I were in charge of the U.S DoJ I would negotiate with the British government to have him interviewed in London. As soon as it is practically possible.

The legal argument would presumably be that giving helpful advice and hints how to execute the hack would be considered criminal.

I don't like the precedents these type of prosecutorial interpretations of the law are setting.

Assuming it even raised to that level and wasn't as simple as "well if you want that information you'll have to figure out how to crack the password" or "gee wouldn't it be nice if you could get past the password protection on that server"

I believe that Assange also has the evidence that Hillary kidnapped and killed Jimmy Hoffa, Tupac Shakur and Jim Morrison. Hillary was reportedly seen last night in her garage making uranium pipe bombs up in Westchester. Thank god for our new hero, Bob Barr who along with Sean Hannity and Alex Jones will soon expose all of this.

    Unfortunately he's right.

That's not how it should be, but in the court system prosecutors are pretty much given free reign to interpret these vague concepts however they want.

In a just system, you would be right.

I believe she also runs a child sex trafficking ring from the basement of a sushi bar as opposed to a pizza parlor.

    oh its the same here
but belgian prisons are so overcrowded they stopped putting people in jail if they got less then 3years so if he had it here he would just be free on probation, probably even be allowed to leave the country

Essentially, if this might be considered "conspiracy", the hardware vendors, the network providers, anything then that aided in the "attack" would be a part of the conspiracy. That seems overbroad here..

As a side note, I still think what Manning did was treason. The fact that the left thought making him a woman was sufficient punishment just baffles. me to this day.

I am not a fan of everything he has done, but he should not be in prison.

    I do too....

And if Assange is found guilty of attempting to assist him/her?? Where does that put him on the treason scale?? I guess since he's not an American, he can't be guilty of treason, but those attempting to assist something you consider treason shouldn't walk, should they??
