There is a bigger controversy about to break wide-open that’s potentially far more significant than Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell approving Nikki Haley’s non-subtle attack on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. That bigger controversy is the Spanish version of the GOP State of the Union rebuttal containing an “amnesty pledge“.

♦ English: We must fix our broken immigration system. That means stopping illegal immigration. And it means welcoming properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of their race or religion. Just like we have for centuries.

Spanish: It’s essential that we find a legislative solution to protect our nation, defend our borders, offer a permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows, respect the rule of law, modernize the visa system and push the economy forward.

    http://theconservativetreehouse.com...mnesty-pledge-in-spanish-version/#more-110948

And this is why Trump will win the GOP nomination. Conservative hate the GOP as much as liberals do.

To politicians being bi-lingual means talking out of both sides of their mouth. This is why outsider candidates are doing so well.

Yea, this believable. You just can't trust the Republican establishment. They're liars for the most part.

So you are hanging your hat on "offer a permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows[/B], respect the rule of law, modernize the visa system and push the economy" as an amnesty pledge ? hmm

Of course it means Amnesty. You don't think the GOP wants to (*)(*)(*)(*) off all the Latinos in the Country and lose their votes, do you?

Below is taken from the linked article. Honestly, I don't see what the point of this post is, nor of the site it came from. There are differences in languages and how it's used to convey an idea. But even so, I don't see anything where the idea of "Ya'll come on over, (*)(*)(*)(*) the laws" is mentioned.

and yet you guys cant decipher what Hillary was saying in her email trails? Fascinating. Bilingual read between the lines not a problem....but Hillarys emails written in plain English, not so much.
Pretend its a youtube lie, youll be ok.

Are you really that naive? This is clearly pandering to latinos and it is not what Haley said either.

Read between the lines and of course it speaks to Amnesty. They just thought they could give two different political speeches to two different linguistic people(English-speaking and Spanish-speaking.) In essence, it's the final nail in the coffin for the United States of America.

The experiment died and with it, all of its "qualities".

So ONLY the Spanish version talked about Amnesty?

    How dishonest can you be...

Well we are talking about the GOP so...

Hell the reason that "the base' is so pissed off and the Party is that they suddenly realized that the GOP party has been lying to them for 30 years or more...

Could someone point to me where Mario Diaz-Barlat talks about immigration and amnesty at all in the OP's link? I have watched the video 3 times now and I simply don't hear it in the video from the OP's link.

As far as I could tell the OP stated that

offer a permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows,

Of course the GOP doesn't mean that...but saying a "human solution" needs to be found ...to "bring people out of the shadows"...is referencing amnesty...or at least trying to sound like it is.

And you'd never find those phrases in a GOP speech in English....

Of course you cannot see it because you do not want to see it. What else could "a human (humane) way to bring illegals out of the shadows" mean? But I could see GOP establishment types wording it like this to also give illegals hope. What the GOP establishment wants is to keep the flow of cheap labor coming to appease their wealthy overlords. Amnesty? They could probably care less but if they could dangle it in front of latinos for votes....I am sure they will.

I believe you have it. It is basically telling the base one thing while telling latinos another. Leaving it open just allows them to do what they want later.Democrats want amnesty because they want voters. The GOP establishment wants the flow of cheap labor coming in to make their donors more wealthy.

While you wrote that I took the liberty to translate it the fourth time I listened to it. I found nothing in the speech about immigration or amnesty.
Here is what I got from it.

He starts with talking about work and businesses and then gives a Jefferson quote.
He then criticizes Obama for unemployment, failing to provide jobs and the deficit.
He talk about needing cooperation and how the Democrats have refused to do so.
He talks about health care and how the Republicans want something else not 1000 pages long, decided in back rooms and that raises taxes. They have proposed other solutions according to him which you can find on the internet and he invites people to share their ideas through social media.
Investing in new tech and innovation for gas, oil and nuclear. Criticises Obama for raising the price on energy and cutting back on coal and oil.
He agrees with the president that education needs to be strengthened. He agrees with the 30.000 more troops in Afghanistan and praises latin soldiers. Then criticises Obama for giving terrorists the same rights as Americans(?) and quotes Scott Brown.
The government should promote a free society where everyone can achieve the American dream. The administration can't help the individual reach those goals but can create the same opportunities for all.
They are worried about the Presidents involvement with the car industry and banks.
No policy can replace the Americans people generosity as the relief for Haiti showed.
The country will always be the country of opportunity and of prosperity. It will always be the country where the innocent is protected and private property is protected. Where there is no opportunity we need to create it and similar. The founders sacrificed everything for this.
As Americans you have to leave the country better than you found it.

Not a perfect translation. Just the subjects more or less. Nothing about either immigration or amnesty. Is the video in the OP's link the whole speech?

So that is why California has issued over half of driver's license to illegals this past year.

Of course it's pandering to latinos. It's not verbatum what Haley said, but it's the same general idea.

    - - - Updated - - -

It doesn't say (*)(*)(*)(*) about Amnesty. But you have already decided that you are offended or have some other reason to claim that it does. So just go with that.
