Many of them are turning up in Colorado, and beginning to pollute our beautiful state...

Before there is too much California bashing, just a reminder

Only the Mexican majority population zones in the state near the coast are liberal. Most areas of the state are conservative.

Their secular humanist state government and the prevailing culture in that state is destroying lives and communities at an accelerated rate. Too proud, too full of themselves to admit that, however. They would gladly destroy themselves just for the satisfaction of opposing everything Trump.

Such a beautiful and free part of the world.

Every Colorado citizen should be strongly encouraging California to secede, such that borders can be put up.

Please God, don't let them ''flee" here. In my state the biggest pejorative one can have is to say they moved here from California.

Love your quote...here is one back at you

    You insult locusts...

Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.

The way I see it, the People's Republic of California will either implode like the Soviet Union or secede to Mexico.

Fortunately, I live 3000 miles away from the blast zone...

So, who's fleeing California - the progressive idiots who are destroying the state or the RWers who have enough sense to get out?

Nothing that isn't happening all over america as the de-industrialization rolls out across the land creating ever more sacrifice zones like Detroit, Camden, Appalachia, etc. This is merely where predatory capitalism winds up.

And we just redistributed even more wealth away from we the people in order to subsidize our aristocracy.

"Neither" side has any sense at all, that's why the power structure is so utterly dependent upon keeping the people howling at each other.

It's what they do. The essence of liberalism is in the universally held belief that the consequences of their actions (crime, abusive taxation, political correctness and destruction of the family and rule of law) are actually not the result of their votes or policies but instead caused by resistance to those failed schemes.

The thing I've noticed most about forks in my neck of the woods that have left CA recently is that they all, to a person, demand that their needs be met by others. The city, the county, every entity is the agent of change for them. I have asked many of them why they moved to my city. I get a lot of answers, like "take advantage of the cheap real estate" "Lower cost of living", lots of excuses. And then, you remind them that the cost of living is less because, unlike CA, we take care of our own needs, and don't depend on the city, or county to provide those types of services that they demand. They look at you like you're an alien.

It seems that pointing out that they themselves are the problem, and it is their entitlement expectations that caused the place they used to live in to become a place they could no longer live in, well, that seems alien to them. Pathetic really.

It makes sense to me. COL is an important factor in deciding where to live. The fact that a city or region is expensive is not a bad thig though. It is a sign of high demand. CA had a net pop. increase of about 250,000 last year. Obviously people still like it here.

Any possibility the folk arriving are coming with their hands out for goodies and those leaving are the folk expected to provide that largess?
