You really have to wonder what these anti-vax organizers were thinking. Does it really come down to any attention is better than no attention? They had to know disrupting a Remembrance day ceremony was going to make them look really bad.

Let's see if I can do this with a straight face....

Would they have been better off to take a knee during the celebration? After all, they have a social issue they want attention for, and the celebration provides a platform open to the public eye......

    ;)

Yeah, I think so. I think that if instead of waving signs and using a blow horn and shout and interrupt those celebrating, they attended the ceremony respectfully and during the national anthem or moment of silence they went down on one knee and after that they joined back in on the celebration with everyone else it would be better. What do you think? Would they have been better off?

Don't get me wrong, they are idiots for behaving as they did, however, once we decide who can protest, and when, and how, then we've pretty much violated the 1st Amendment along the way.

We don't have to like it. But we have to allow it.

I am not disputing their right for protest. I was questioning the organizers for choosing to disrupt a veterans day celebration in the fashion they chose. I don't think you are going to gain public support by doing this. So unless public notoriety is their goal, I wonder what the organizers are thinking.

Oh, the irony. Interrupting a Remembrance Day celebration for those in military uniform who protected your freedoms, for you to have freedom to show what a bunch of ********s you are.

Looks like some folks in Canada cannot read the room either.

Westboro Church members protesting at military funerals.......

Back then, patriotic/common sense people didn’t care if the anti-protest legislations enacted by most States were constitutional or not.

Let’s kick them out, and deal with the 1st Amendment later.

    Agree.

Lying, misleading, and denying....3 traits Trump indisputably accentuated.
