    Trump has already declared that he won, several times.

    doesnt sound like he really wants an investigation, he's already made up his mind.

    He never said he did - just that he had yet to see any evidence that others have said for weeks was clear and obvious

    What investigation did Trump do though to state unequivocally that there was fraud when Barr has access to the same info? Since Trump stated it for months before the election (and in 2016 both in the primaries & general) - clearly none

    Correct. Which news outlets like NPR then report as "Barr says there is no fraud."

    There are literally hundreds of people coming forward with claims -- some more believable than others -- about irregularities in the battleground states. I would like to so suggest we ought to wait until those claims are vetted before we start using phrases like "President Elect Biden." He is not yet the president elect. Presumptive? Perhaps.

    Then instead of saying "there is no evidence" as he did on NPR, he should have said "the investigation is ongoing and I will not comment until it is concluded."

    The AG has not said that and the DOJ said in response to those misrepresenting what he said that the vigorous investigation is ongoing. And yes it seems that as opposed to the Obama/Biden administration the Trump administration worked hard at and succeed at preventing foreign cyber intervention into the election but that is not the issue here.

    Check out all the sworn whistleblower affidavits. The DOJ has just started theirs, they could not start until all the states had certified their results and now can have access to the evidence.

    The DOJ statement yesterday vis-a-vis the misrepresentations the MSM are putting out


    Breaking: DOJ Pushes Back Against Reports That Barr Said Investigation Into Voter Fraud Is Over
    “Some media outlets have incorrectly reported that the Department has concluded its investigation of election fraud and announced an affirmative finding of no fraud in the election,” a spokesperson from the DOJ said in a statement.

    “That is not what the Associated Press reported nor what the Attorney General stated. The Department will continue to receive and vigorously pursue all specific and credible allegations of fraud as expeditiously as possible.”

    nobody on Trump's side actually did any true "investigations"

    they started with a preconceived notion of the results, and simply tried to find scraps of info that might support it

    Well...you claimed AG Barr can’t claim there is no evidence because you say he hasn’t had enough time to investigate. So then how can Trump claim the election was “stolen” if Trump hasn’t done any investigation at all???

    Obviously, we aren't going to "cancel this election"...

    Many on here know that I track the hypothetical scenario where each states EC vote is based on a Pct of the total vote each candidate received in that state. I personally think this is the best way to determine the "will of the people", even if most states decided to go with the ridiculous winner-take-all concept instead.

    For reference, with this method, Hillary beat Trump in 2016, 271 to 267.

    I have Joe with a 274 to 264 win with 6 states left to certify, although I don't see any major vote changes.

    Joe picked up single EC votes in 12 states and 2 EC votes in Texas
    Trump picked up single EC votes in 5 states and 2 EC votes in Ca

    Gary Johnson got 9 EC votes in 2016, but only 1 Johansen EC vote (Ca) in 2020

    The best comparison of past elections (going back to 1932) is Carter beating Ford in 1976 by the same margin (274/264)

    Don't recall Jerry Ford screaming Fraud...

    Ummmm... why should we expect anybody on "Trump's side" to investigate anything? We have a whole federal agency dedicated to that. It starts with "FB" and ends in "I." Do you know what the "I" stands for?
