Cancer is very much a self-inflicted medical condition because:....
Most of the commercially produced meat and vegetables is showered with antibiotics and pesticides, flooded with growth hormones and genetically modified to grow fast and these additive chemicals act just likewise to cancer cells (iirc, battery chickens are nowadays at commercial slaughter age by 4months old or less).

The animals are housed in deliberately cramped conditions both to maximize profit as well as to prevent them from exercising because exercise requires calories and thus retards fat gain and is a 'wastage' of feed calories since farmers want maximum fat/weight gain in the shortest possible time frame.

The lack of exercise for livestock means that natural toxins cannot be normally excreated and thus remains in the meat at time of slaughter.

This very unnatural and miserable kind of lifestyle amongst livestock induces depression and stress hormones. These depression/stress hormones will probably persist in the meat products even when they enter our stomachs.

There is ample pollution (micro plastics, heavy metals etc) in the water and air which is drunk/ inhaled as the case may be. When absorbed vz food, air/ water sources, this probably results in disseminated, persistent low grade inflammation which reduces immune function allowing cancers to grow without resistance due to a distracted/ weakened immune system.

Diabetes and other chronic diseases also weaken the immune system either by causing unnecessary and disruptive inflammation (e.g. hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol excess) or direct chemical / pressure damage to arteries resulting in a physically weakened state (as manifest by kidney failure, infections from gangrene of limbs , weak heart, strokes etc).

Lack of exercise also weakens the immune system since a certain duration of vigorous (moderate) exercise is necessary to increase the blood circulation and studies have shown that the increase in general blood circulation is necessary to mobilize certain lymphocytes (white blood cells) involved in cancer cell eradication as well as defence against infections. Lack of increased blood circulation only possible with the increase in heart rate during exercise may also hinder the removal/ excretion of cancer causing toxins/ waste products lodged in vessel walls just like a vigorous and violent stirring of water in a washing machine is necessary in order to make clothes clean.

Persistent stress also releases hormones also perhaps stunt the function of the immune system to conserve energy to channel to the flight or fight response. The lack of rest intervals between episodes of high stress means that cancers can grow undetected /obstructed by the weakened immune system until they reach advanced stage wherein treatment is difficult or even futile.
The lack of sleep meaning no opportunity for the immune system to recharge also has a similar outcome; as does obesity associated obstructive sleep apnoea wherein sleep is interrupted by breathing difficulties resulting in repeated micro-awakenings culminating into poor sleep.

Lack of indigestable fibre in the diet, serving multi-roles as as a weight control supplement, laxative to promote fecal expulsion as well as an absorbent for carcinogens is probably another contributor to cancer; either via obesity related health problems or even avoidable mental stress from diverticulosis due to chronic constipation.

It is thus due to poor lifestyle choices especially uncontrolled stress levels, lack of exercise / sedentary lifestyles, excessive %body fat, lack of environmentalism, etc that are a common cause of cancer in sufferers.

Cancer is thus very much a self-inflicted medical condition....

(And I haven't even reached the most nefarious part regarding tobacco smoking yet.)

Yes, I have heard of some things in Medicine, however, here in the U.S. there is less administration of antibiotics and hormones to cattle as a selling point, packages now sport labels
"Hormone Free meat" or "Free Range poultry"
    Healthier food for hlealthier living.

Life expectancy has gone down for the first time in many years due to street drug overdose deaths.

We should go back to old fashioned farming even though food prices will go up 5X.

Narcotics deaths are not relevant to life expectancy actuaries.

Modern farming is great as long as we don't use detrimental methods.

You can spend the morning at Waffle House. The tractor goes to work, plows, fertilizes, seeds, hauls a combine or thresher, all by itself -- if you can afford that tractor. If your tractor has a ventilated spring steel seat it's going to be a long day

Reminds me of farming described in the Star Wars books.
Farming Droids and other automated farm stuff.

I wrote the following article based on sketchy statistics from MOH. Not 100% precise (because MOH is scarce with statistics) but not too far from the truth I think.

Singaporean lifestyle is very much cancer causing and at least 50% (or much more) of Singaporeans will be diagnosed with cancer at least 1x in lifetime.

The example of multiple cancers happening in same family is tragic, but pretty much common place in Singapore due to the stressful, sedentary, unhealthy Singaporean lifestyle.

I always post the following on this kind of thread because it makes such logical sense to me. I heard an oncologist being interviewed some years go on the BBC Today prog., and he said that the contracting of cancer is down to 80% bad diet (specifically the adding of chemicals to foods and liquids for the purpose of either flavour enhancement, or as preservatives), and 20% 'bad luck', ie faulty cell reproduction.
