You do understand this “certain demographic” needs ID for life in general. It seem racist to treat these people as if they are simpletons or chipmunks who don’t need ID.

They've BEEN identified. Jeebus man, have you never been to vote yourself? You go in and there's a person with a box in front of them. He asks your name and he finds a card in it. If he can't find a card for you, you get to vote "provisionally" and the provision being that they identify you later.

The reason the card is there is because some time before you REGISTERED to vote and when you did that you were very thoroughly identified.

Now yes, you could defraud that process, but it's not easy and its a felony and it's only one vote. Do you really think people are going to risk some very high fines and substantial jail time to cast just ONE vote? I mean yes, my vote is worth quite a lot. TO ME but you're constantly coming on with this **** where this is being routinely done by not just thousands or tens of thousands but it's like somebody is paying off MILLIONS of people. Not even Soros has that kind of money.

Oh,and just how does making it less convenient to vote make it any more secure? If I have to take time off work how does that keep a bogus vote from being cast?

Do we really want them to participate when they have little clue what and who they are actually voting for, and are unwilling to put in the effort to do some research themselves? The sad truth is, for a big chunk of the population, critical thought is not their strong suit. I don't know why you'd want to force people to vote who don't want to.

What we have now is a good compromise between having democracy and preventing mob rule.

Politics is already idiotic enough without forcing idiots to vote.

it's against the rules, they wanted to vote for a dem down ticket, but republicans added fake candidates to the list

if you want it to be legal, it has to be legal for both sides

Yeah, isn't that just more evidence that many voters are too stupid to vote, and probably shouldn't be voting?

many know the main candidates and don't care about down tickets other than that they belong to their party

it's cheating and against the rules, isn't this proof that republicans cheated in 2020

"The Great Unwashed aren't as smart as us, they aren't fit to rule themselves. Do we ask our beasts whence they should be driven? Do we inquire of our cattle how they should be slaughtered and cooked?"

The constant and historic cry of the tyrant should not go unrecognized just because some of the tyrants are ourselves.

No no, it may happen. A Fascist movement is silencing dissenters with increasing success so, you're kinda on your way. Congratulations, I think.

The Constitution does not say you must be smart in order to have the right to vote. Also, it's not your job to tell people they shouldn't be voting. Why, that's just a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from fascism.

And talk about uninformed voters - that would be the MAGA crowd, right there.

Can you tell my why Stephen Molyneux was canceled from Youtube? The guy makes long, reasoned videos.

Then can you tell me why youtube still enjoys SS230 protection (that they are a platform, not a publisher making editorial choices).

My take is that you have government collusion with big business, which is a central to what Fascism is about.

Even if that were a fair analogy, the arsonist would be correct.

Stupid people pay taxes and defend you in the Armed Forces. I know I shouldn't say this because they are Trump's base but the thinking impaired are as entitled to to as much voice in government as you are.

Beside sometimes your dumb ****s are pretty smart.

Damn, and here I thought most Trumpers were just reverse snobs

I know, we could have tests for people to vote, like they did in the South once. How'd that work out?

    Democrats must avoid snobbery.

Ask the President, Joe Biden is a racist as is his party. Who lost the South? Not republicans, so how'd that work out? The President is the epitome of White Privilege.

Who said that? What has been repeatedly stated despite evidence to the contrary is that only democrats cheated in the 2020 election.

They know what it means and they shroud it in "election security" issues. There is absolutely no way that X number of people orchestrated millions of votes for Biden across the entire country and nobody has a shred of evidence. If Trump didn't spend his last year as POTUS hiding from responsibility for COVID and planting doubts about election fraud, he might not have been voted out.

It's really worrisome to me that these people are being conned this way. He's raking in millions of dollars per month while the people that stormed the Capitol (on his behalf) are in prison or about to be. He's nothing but a loser, user and con man. There is absolutely NO reason why anybody should just take somebody's word for something this huge and especially not a pathological liar's words. Why are they NOT grasping that Sidney Powell said "no reasonable person would believe my election lies."? That should be game...set...match.

We've been over this before. It's not that anyone is being fooled by anything, They. Don't. CARE. It's not about fraud which they know didn't happen or votes they know they don't have and never did. It's about POWER and making Trump Dictator for life.and placing themselves in charge. These people HATE democracy anyway and make that clear to anyone who will listen at any opportunity.

They're trying to steal our country from us right under our noses, just like the Nazi's did to Germany in 1933. Thank god it seems we're not letting that happen but the struggle isn't over yet by a long shot. Keystone Fascists are just as dangerous as the more serious types, maybe even more so.

    I agree, partially.

People drank disinfectant because he mentioned it (it's irrelevant if it was not a directive; he's responsible for putting it out there).
People asked their doctors for Hydroxychloroquine because he blurted out that he was taking it as a prophylaxis (preventative).
People didn't socially distance, self-quarantine or wear masks because he didn't model those behaviors.
People went to our Capitol Building with the intention of locating our seated Vice-President to force him to stop the certification.
People sent Bannon money for the wall (and was found guilty) and Trump helped him out. Trump was probably in on that scam.
People are sending him money every single day for "election security".

Like it or not, ALL these people WERE fooled. Why would anybody do any of those things if they didn't completely trust him?

And, the stranger than fiction part is, like the hundreds of thousand deaths to COVID, he has never once acknowledged any of these people except Bannon. Shouldn't that, along with all the people he fired for not repeating his lies, make it obvious that he doesn't care about anybody but himself?

Agree 100% on this. They don't care.

That's obvious since Powell admitted that she lied about widespread election fraud. I have yet to see any of his supporters even comment on this. It's like they pretend it didn't even happen (just like all the other horrible things he does daily).
However, there is a difference here. Nazis (that's not supposed to have an apostrophe - which means ownership, not plural) in Germany stuck together.

Trump has NO sense of loyalty, gratitude or even decency. He will attack anybody for anything or nothing. The ONLY person that he even treats like a human is his daughter and that's because he's got some kind of incestuous crush on her. It's disgusting.

In other words, these people are putting up a fight for a monster that doesn't give a damn about them and like all abusers he WILL hurt them the first chance he deems them useless. Just like he did Pence. He couldn't have created a more loyal VP if he could build a man from the ground up and the Pences are being threatened constantly because of this lie.

It's one thing to not care about democracy and fair elections.

It's one thing to not care if anybody that doesn't vote their way is disenfranchised.

It's one thing to not care if he was fired legitimately.

It's one thing to not care if their own bank accounts have been double-dipped by his donation page.

It's another level to threaten a man's life for doing the job he swore an oath to do. I simply don't believe that these people are all aware that he's lying. Would you threaten a man's life if you honestly *KNEW* that he did nothing wrong? That's a completely different level.

The person in the message I was responding to

"Seems that once again, actual electoral fraud was perpetrated not by Democrats, but by Republicans. Funny how that works. And worse, this fraud most likely changed the outcome of that election."

But you do have to provide verification. Indeed your identity has to be verified rather well and you have register that verification with your local board of election supervisors well before the fact or they won't let you vote at all.
