Newsflash: getting mailed a pre-filled voter registration application by a 3rd party does not mean you can actually successfully register. Belongs in the humor section.

The paranoia is unjustified. Fake applications get thrown out all of the time (pssst, that's a good thing).

If someone had actually filled out the application for the cat, it wouldn't have been approved. No matching SSN, and what exactly would the cat have put down for its DOB?

Did the cat have a SS number? Did the cat have a license? Does the left think this is the only one that this has happened to? Why does the left really think this cant happen on even greater magnitude? Closing down voting locations which weren't used is "disenfranchisement" but the large chance of voter fraud by mailing is "unthinkable".

That's because registering to vote does not maaaagically make you immortal. People do actually die after registering. Surprising, I know.

You do realize that registered =/= actually voted . . . right? So . . . follow me here . . . that would mean that dead people on the registers does not mean that those "dead" people voted.

Shush...its not like it happens enough right? How much will be "enough" to claim it will be a problem. 20% in New Jersey town was marked as "fraud", is that enough?

That part of the Vote Fraud Industry, first, you never purge your voter rolls so that you can flood the area with ballots, then you get them filled out and counted.

You can always predict the Democrats position on any vote integrity issue, they are always for the position that makes fraud easier and more difficult to detect.

You can always predict the GOP position on vote integrity issues, they are always for the position that protects legal votes from being nullified by fraud.

 

It looks like it is pretty easy to catch. As for 20% in New Jersey being marked as "fraud" . . . those were caught . . . and didn't count. Also, here's what the article says about those:

"More than 1,200 ballets were initially tossed due to issues with voter signatures and another 1,000 were dumped because the person who dropped off the ballots did not correctly fill out the envelope to indicate they were the "bearer" of the ballots. New Jersey law allows a "bearer" to collect and deliver up to three ballots per election; however, this right does not extend to candidates."

Some were fraud for sure, though I doubt all of the signature issues were fraud. Almost half, however, were thrown out due to incorrectly filled envelopes. That doesn't necessarily sound like fraud to me. If anything, this shows they are being overly cautious, not that successful fraud is rampant or even common.

 

It would be really stupid for them to do so and would just make it easier for them to get caught. I'm sure it has happened a couple of times, but I doubt it is all that common.

So are you going to campaign to ban any third parties from having any involvement in the electoral process, maybe push for politically independent electoral commissions to be responsible for the entire process from registration to results, removing any partisan politics from the process at all?

Or are you just going to moan about "the left" but not actually call for anything to change the flawed and corruptible system?
