A wall along the border is racist? How?

 

Catholics are mocked routinely in contemporary liberal culture.

 

These kids certainly learned how to treat people with respect at that Catholic school, huh? I'm sure their parents helped out as well.

What kind of chaperones let high school kids mock people like that? Whoever thought that was ok didn't think it through very well.

These kids saw someone who wasn't white ahs started chanting build the wall. Classy kids.

 

The horror. "Standing extremely close". They should of started the video earlier to show the kid standing in the same place the whole time and the Indian walking up to the kid and getting "extremely close" and up in his face.

 

Did you notice all his classmates around, chanting and mocking the guy? Claiming they're "just standing there" doesn't cut it.

Many of these young idiots were wearing MAGA hats and some MAGA sweatshirts,clearly the parents who have spent their money to send these kids to the Catholic parochial school Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills Kentucky, have WASTED THEIR money because these kids have absolutely no human decency or Christianity in them.Perfect little DIRTY DONALD turds.

Kentucky Teens Wearing 'MAGA' Hats Taunt Indigenous Peoples March Participants in Viral Video

The students were reportedly in Washington on Friday for the March for Life anti- abortion rally that was happening the same day as the Indigenous Peoples March.

A video of Kentucky Catholic high school students wearing ‘MAGA’ hats and yelling over Native American marchers has gone viral after people called the teenagers’ behavior disrespectful.

According to local Louisville, Ky. news station WHAS 11, the students were in Washington D.C. on Friday for the March for Life anti-abortion rally on the National Mall. The Indigenous Peoples March, which aimed to “bring awareness to the injustices affecting Indigenous men, women, children and two spirits,” took place nearby.

Several videos posted on Twitter show the students, many wearing Covington Catholic High School sweatshirts and ‘Make America Great Again’ apparel, crowding the Native American marchers, yelling over them as they conduct a ceremony for fallen veterans. In one video, a teen stares down a Native American elder for about a minute.

Indian Country Today said the elderly protester in the video is Nathan Phillips, an Omaha-based Vietnam veteran who holds an annual ceremony honoring Native American veterans at the Arlington National Cemetery. Phillips is the former director of the Native Youth Alliance and a keeper of a ceremonial sacred pipe.

In an interview posted on Twitter, an emotional Phillips talked about what happened.

“When I was there singing I heard them saying ‘build that wall! build that wall!'” he said. “you know this is indigenous land, were not supposed to have walls here, we never did for a millennium before anyone else came here.”

Phillips added he wishes the young men he encountered would, “put their energy into making this country really great, helping those that are hungry.”

According to the Associated Press, a diocese in Kentucky is looking into the videos. Laura Keener of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Covington told AP on Saturday they regret the incident and are investigating.

One Twitter user said it was “one of the most horrific displays of ignorance, racism & disrespect.”

It was an annual march for indigenous people and the kids were there for the right to life march.

Why do you believe they felt the need to surround a Native American military veteran and chant build the wall?

I'm trying to imagine how many pages of outrage we would have if kids from a Muslim school wearing clothing identifying themselves as Democrat supporters chanted over a white Vietnam vet holding a ceremony for other veterans. I'm betting we would be in double figures by now, packed full of the nastiest anti-Muslim bile.

When it is Christian Trump supporters chanting over an native American veteran honouring other veterans it is apparently fine. Even when presented with a full account of what happened the conservatives here can't bring themselves to condemn the behaviour.

Yet more proof that ideology warps minds and undermines even the most basic standards of decency.

The ‘Elder’ clearly is the aggressor here........he walks into the group of teens who were just acting like normal 17 year old children (not acting like Trayvon or those playing ‘the knock-out game) and this activist is obviously triggered by their ‘whiteness’ and the MAGA hats. He chooses to get in this child’s personal space and repeatedly beat a drum within inches of his face........the kid should be applauded for staying cool and just smiling in the face of the radical’s aggression......

Dig up some of the threads from when McCain died. It doesn't matter. Yuo can risk your life and spend years getting tortured for your country, but oppose Trump and you are nothing.
