HTownMarine, That's a damn fine post, and it seems like the world is catching up with it. "Elon Musk's transition to Austin could make this southern city "the next big thing."" The next big thing is no longer NY and CA, it's FL and TX. She's not a nice person. The amount of tax revenue her disrespect cost CA is far in excess of her salary. This IS the future for the GOP. https://thehill.com/opinion/finance...ms-texas-and-florida-are-americas-future?rl=1 The paradigm where the national discussion is driven by the bicoastal states of NY and CA are giving way to a cutting edge system where the national conversation is driven by TX and FL.
I came across an article on this I think at Real Clear politics yesterday. It’s got some good info in it.
. If you want to escape demented draconian demon-rats... do NOT move to Austin! http://www.politicalforum.com/index...se-mass-murderers-block-intersections.587564/ https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politi...g-weakening-radicals-adler-and-casar-n1444132 I live in a DFW [Dallas/Ft Worth} suburb... the fastest growing area of Texas. .
Makes me wonder if you know what you are cheering on. The migrations to Texas are turning Texas blue, bit by bit. A Texas that votes Democratic spells the end of the Republican Party.
