The Arab Spring created an environment for a group like ISIS to form..... I predicted it... I remember talking to my mother and she thought the Arab Spring was fantastic and I told her this will breed a new terrorist organization that will mimic Mad Max, and that those that want liberty will be slaughtered.... Of course I was right.... The Middle East will NEVER have peace if they have Islam, there are just too many militant conservative Muslims - an abnormal demographic of Islam is militant compared to other religions - and a lot of these people have absolutely no problem with martyrdom... I suppose the issue with that is that in Islam death for religion is an honor - very similar to the Japanese with their kamikaze fighters, of course they were really more nationalists and religion played little role in their philosophy....
