    There you have it.
The most Cynical RINO, and DINO candidate ever to come from the Swamp State of Florida.
He is running against the most Neo Fascist pro Trump Stooge of all times.
    Get out the popcorn.

DeSantis will win handily. He probably doesn't even need to campaign. He is what Donald Trump could be if Donald Trump was an adult.

The Senate race is going to drive high turnout among Democrats. Rubio is in real trouble.

It's a bad year for DeSantis to be on the ballot.

I still suspect he will win, but it's going to be close.

Yeah, Val's got his number and his number is hopefully up. She can do this and will do a better job of representing the constituents.
I don't however think that Crist can beat The Despot's Apprentice 2.0.

Charlie Crist should be the perfect Democratic candidate. He has no actual beliefs and will just accept the ones of whoever funded him. The entire reason he became a Democrat is because he couldn't win the Senate primary against Rubio.

But Democrats beware, Crist is a wholly owned subsidiary of John Morgan, the Boss Hogg of Florida

    Perhaps you are correct.
DeSantis has larger Presidential aspirations that extends beyond his commitment to the people of Florida.
A loss verses Crist would be very embarrassing.
    We will see.

Charlie Crist called Gov. DeSantis a 'dictator' but the governor's response turned that on its head.

"A reporter asked Gov. DeSantis about Crist calling him a dictator. “How do you respond to that?” the reporter asked to laughter from the crowd in the room. DeSantis response was a master class in sparring with the press and your opponent. He first rolled his eyes and then offered a more substantial answer.

“Over the last couple years you had people that kept wanting to lock people down. I was one of the few in this country that lifted people up,” he said to applause. He continued, “We protected people’s freedoms, jobs, businesses, we made sure kids could be in school and we liberated 22 million Floridians from local mandates and restrictions.”

Forced Maskers calling the Liberators "dictators'. They memorize words and then use them with no apparent understanding of their meaning.

    Betting odds:
    DeSantis 89%
    Crist 11%

The description I have heard for Crist, from a Democrat, is "charisma- challenged."

I do not think that DeSantis is a "Dictator", I think that he is a Neofascist.
let us get our terms straight.

I think it's pathetic how progressive need to toss bad labels on anything they don't like.

Everything isn't about you. This was a quote of Crist and clearly labeled as such. Please keep your facts straight.

Florida Gov. DeSantis rips Biden student loan cancellation

'Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis slammed the Biden administration's college debt relief plan Thursday, arguing that taxpayers who don't seek higher education shouldn't foot the bill for those who do.'

“It’s very unfair to have a truck driver have to pay back a loan for someone that got a Ph.D. in gender studies,” DeSantis, a graduate of Yale College and Harvard Law School, told reporters at an unrelated news conference. “That’s not fair. That’s not right.”

Crist doesn't seem to be particularly favored for this race. I think the other one, "Fried" was more aptly named for the likely outcome in this contest.

    Soon.

A great example of a distinction with a difference logical fallacy.

You, again, are trying to deflect by insisting on fitting a square peg into o around hole. It's not a counter point but a distinction with relevant difference.

I think some would suggest that it's clever to put a ton of false labels on someone by proxy if they are against marxism, socialism and communism. Unless you have examples as to how he is any of those other things.

    I'm sure you do yes?

Yeah, the much requested rabbit hole chase. I'd suggest passing on your logical fallacy "arguement" and deal with my post that set you on the distinction without a difference reach.

I've been steady freddy this entire time. You went down the "he's only saying this because it hurts white people with meret" rabbit hole and then thought you had a gotcha because nowhere does it specifiy white people as specifically being targeted.

However as I've stated, my entire point has and always will be to leave race out of the discussion when it comes to lay offs or hires and to do so on the grounds of...

    wait for it...

    MERET.

Teaching and policing and fire, and medical are all very important roles of which we shouldn't care about the personal identity of the individual in such a "progressed" society and instead should just hope that the best people are doing those jobs.

    ;)

Merit is what's missing from your steady but logical fallacy. As I clearly indicated, a distinction without a difference argument is not a counter point but simply disingenious distraction. Some info:
"A distinction without a difference is a type of logical fallacy where an author or speaker attempts to describe a distinction between two things where no discernible difference exists.[1] It is particularly used when a word or phrase has connotations associated with it that one party to an argument prefers to avoid."
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disti...out a difference,an argument prefers to avoid.
