Just wondering what's Trump policy when it comes to children at the border. It's disgusting issue, but is there anyone who's really trying to stop it? Also child abuse in those facilities. I like to say to Trump's face: Trump, do something about this or are you full of apesh*t ? (so you can't be decent human being) My advice is that if things like this is coming from Trump direction, you guys should vote for someone else. This insanity is going too far and for too long.
I still haven't got an answer from a single leftist on this: Either pick one of the following, or suggest a viable alternative: When a child and adult without documentation are seen crossing the border and subsequently detained by ICE, the following should occur: 1. Parent and child are detained together 2. Parent is detained and child is placed in the care of the state 3. Parent and child are released into the country The only viable option seems #2, but this is exactly what leftists complain about. They offer no solutions. They didnt care when Obama did #2 It's all political BS as far as I can see. Moreover, every second immigration is in the news bolsters Trump. This is an issue he smashes Dems on. The working class, left or right, doesnt want illegal immigration because rightly or wrongly DEY TERK UR JERRGBS So why not go talk about Medicare or drug reform or any of the other issues you do well on? Itd be like the GOP spending every waking minute talking about tax cuts on millionaires. Like... do you want Trump to win 2020 or something? I dont understand.
Option 4 Immediately deport both to their home. Option 5 Build the wall and shoot rubber bullets and tear gas at anyone who tries to climb it or dig under. Shoot anybody who makes it over/under the wall. That's called repelling an invasion. Asylum seekers can use the controlled gates and justify their claim.

When young people come here (Finland) without parents, they are mostly going to cozy place run by Red Cross (seen those places few times), also there is some government's places for those, but I can't think why any of young immigrants need to put in cages here - ever. What's the point? Why America don't give decent place for children? One other thing: why some people seems to think that asylum seeker is like a criminal? (counted as illegal) We don't pee on asylum seekers face, like some of your people like to do now. Maybe #1 is best option, but also give decent place (by that I don't mean palace or hotel) - we have those in Finland and it's called 'transit' building (run by Red Cross, mostly). Room or 2 for every asylum seeker family. Now people are like in prison at your border - who's proud of it?

Your country is too good, warm, beautiful, nice healthcare and top notch education. Problem is that America is way too appealing now, maybe you need to make it a bit worse. Trump's MAGA narrative is like a magnet for those asylum seekers - everyone wanna be part of that.
Our country isn’t any better than any other western democracy, to be honest we probably live harder lives than you, and your fellow Finns. If you’re so concerned about our migrant issue, feel free to invite some to your country.
Catch and deport. No need to detain anyone, no need to separate families. How there is even any controversy on this is beyond me, it's just applying the law.
